Average holostars fans always have some kind of traumatic reaction toward cover due to the horrible treatment they got in the early year thus making them extra protective of the talents, any single setback the talents had will be a glaring big punishment in their eyes even if it's a minor stuff. It's no wonder a lot of them still believed holostars were not getting enough support despite also acknowledging that things are much better lately. As a diehard tempura, I don't know what the fuck she's talking about. StarsEN mane-sans absolutely love their charges to the point of codemonkeying a whole ass visual novel for them and frequently engaging in bantz to this day. The most trouble there was has been management wise has been some perms issues/project stalling/Vesper yelling at management.
Admittedly I don't know much about StarsJP in comparison. However, Shinove was by all accounts a pretty cool dude before he left. The only major thing I can think of is StarsJP getting standardized merch after COVER opening up to shareholders. Initially there was the gender separation, but that got changed to vtuber discretion.
I think the major takeaway is that these fans are expecting cover to support them as much as they can until they reach hololive-popularity status, which is something that would be difficult to achieve considering the virtual male idol market isn't as favored by the whole.
the JP sides were mainly doing moderately as of now with no remarkable negative impact (unless you wanted to count the merchandise thing as one), I think we can only draw conclusion about their current state after holoexpo and anniversary because that's usually when they were dropping the big news and because some talents are currently on break so it will be hard to gauge their influence atm. As of now, they're still getting occasional sponsorship deals (arurandeisu and oga being official ambassador for UNI2, oga collabing with official mocopi pr girl) and pretty much cozying up to their own content.
I believe shinove is still in contact with some of them but even putting that aside, all of them had pretty capable managers and staff who were ready to help them out.
I was wondering about chihiro's case too because from what I've known, all of the graduated livers who decided to continue vtubing took at least 3-4 months before actually redebuting themselves with their new l2d (this is important because the likes of gibara, lulu and gundou were all streaming occasionally on their PL account few days after their niji departure either using temporary model or just plain old fleshtubing before getting their new virtual model), of course several factors could be in play be it timing or convenience but chihiro being the only one who immediately debuted herself in her new model tells me that she already smelled the bad blood in niji and prepared everything in advance which could means that things are indeed changing on the JP side as wellView attachment 63053
"I think the fact that 1st term student Yuki Chihiro immediately started Vtuber activities under a new avatar right after her graduation is more serious than this contract termination fiasco.
In other words, Yuuki Chihiro no longer feels that being a member of Niji-sanji is beneficial to her activities as a Vtuber.
I'm worried that this will trigger a graduation domino that will turn her into UUUM."
