I swear I remember reading here about another recently graduated (?) vtuber who spent all her money commissioning fanart through some website. Tbh I think Niji accidentally helped her instead of punished her. She seems to be much happier, has plenty of support, and finally gets to play the games and create the content she wanted. I believe multiple artists came forward after that and showed that Niji are fucking retards that don't pay, expect their talents to foot the bill, and demand an NDA while failing to fill it out properly. Meanwhile they mentioned working with Calli involved her asking them for an invoice so she can send it up the ladder to Cover while not requiring an NDA. They've nuked their EN ecosystem in record time.

At this point there is literally no good path for Nijisanji to continue. But they'll still keep on putting their fingers in their ears and pretend this never happened.

I see literally only two paths forward that could end up fixing their reputation short of slogging through years and years of work to fix it.
1) A total and complete house cleaning of NijiEN's management, including groveling apologies from Riku Tazumi himself going full dogeza and a roadmap of what they intend to do to fix their public perception - especially focusing on treatment of livers.
2) Niji releases total and incontrovertible proof that Selen was a complete nightmare psychotic bitch cunt behind the scenes, and she managed to play every single person like a goddamn fiddle. That kind of thing is basically impossible to hide forever though, and would go 100% against every single other testimony thus far of her character.

A big problem Niji has is that they seem to think that the fans will just be willing to believe them more than the talent. Maybe in Japan they just blind trust the company, but in the west a lot of people assume the worst of a company and the best of a employee in company vs employee situations, for good or ill.

They are rapidly finding out what works for a collectivist society like Japan absolutely does not work on an individualist one like the west. This is going to be the thing that ultimately bites them on the ass.
