that's fucking nuts. Hes surprisingly even more of a get then Monarch is including several leading roles (to monarch's arguably 2) in anime people openly talk about. Akihiko in P3 Usado (male lead) in Wrong way to use healing magic. Gabimaru in Hell's Paradise (male lead) even as far back as 2017 he was Tamotsu (Male Lead) in Akiba's Strip the animation.
and your telling him to drop his Career? that's not just malice that's shooting yourself in the foot.
Or it's a polite way of saying "We don't want you."
If Niji's SOP is to control its livers, then someone with a reasonable career before and outside Niji is a terrible pick because Niji cannot control him.
Niji
has to prey on downtrodden failures. Someone like Noel, Reine or Ina, who has something to fall back on, would either just leave again very quickly, or worse, upend the entire system by suddenly being very loud and angry and potentially sparking independent thoughts in some other livers.
Or talk to mom and suddenly it's too late to call for help, your shit's fucked, gg, in Reine's case.
Now, Niji hasn't followed this principle to perfection. IIRC, some of the later gens had six digit sub PL hires. I'd have to look up whether it were exactly these people that have caused trouble in the past year or so.
But even so, a couple 100 k subs aren't quite on the level that Hololive or Vshojo hire.
Rag on Vshojo's habit of hiring established streamers or Hololive occasionally picking people with good careers rather than giving a starving 2view the chance she so desperately needs and deserves, but their willingness to hire people who can and will loudly complain and leave if things go to shit demonstrates that they're not actively malicious and running streaming sweatshops.
