Yay! My first archive!
First archive, melanine decreased. At 10 consequtive ones you will lose your black card.
Got this from /vt/.

It seems like he got rejected for the job that he applied. Bummer. Economy's in the shitter right now so it's hard to get a job. Dunno if he'll come back from his hiatus sooner because of this.
This is Ver Vermillion's PL btw

He's a some sort of lawyer, right? Sucks to be unable to find specialty job, but if i knew he's woking for niji - i would also reject him for being retarded after all that happened and leaks.

Based on what Vivi has said, it wouldn't surprise me if Niji didn't even remember who the fuck she is.
Honestly I could believe it. Starting to consider that most NijiEN business decisions are run by a Japanese version of Nolan.

"Well who has the biggerestest noombas? Seren? She once said I was turning down an opportunity to make connections and get good will from the EN scene by telling her no. She got somewhat mad and depressed because it was some dumbass fan contest or tournament she did all the pre-work for and even spent money setting up. She's such an egomaniac. Fuck her. No merch collabs for that bitch! What about Kunai? ...Who the fuck is Kunai? Are you pronouncing Akuma wrong??"

This leak more or less reinforces a bunch of stuff that we knew from stories we've heard. Nothing ground breaking, but another on the pile of being pretty safe to say they treat their smaller people pretty badly.
The Aster stuff also seems pretty likely. Anything that shows up about him seems consistent but never has any sort of call out or out to get him feeling to it. Just the casual talking points of "He's an annoying creeper but we're stuck dealing with it." Hopefully nobody's been stuck dealing with more than him being in dms and whatnot, but I do hope this blows up in Niji's face if they're covering or ignoring stuff for this jackass. Especially if they're still doing it after they just ate shit with that music dude they were working with.

Tricking new talents into becoming indebted to them and convincing them to not just quit their old PL but delete their old PL entirely is completely new. Their prior MO was to gaslight the fuck out of their talents. We've heard stories of them convincing their talents they were worthless, all their success was because of the Niji brand, and they would never succeed on their own. Now that we have several talents that are all successful after leaving the company, they realized that isn't effective anymore. So now the play is to trick the talents into becoming indebted towards them and convincing them to delete their old PL so they have nothing to fall back on and rally fans to. It's easier to control debt slaves while you're their sole source of income than it is to keep gaslighting someone after they find out you've been constantly lying.

Deleting PL isn't even an effective strategy to prevent quitting, make a new account call everyone you know to follow you and autists will figure out it's you anyway. It's just abusive for the sake of being abusive. Sure, if you had a 100k subs channel it might work but no one this big is going to join them following forward

Yeah, I believe there was some talents in the JP side of Niji that directly corralled fans toward the new account. Having them delete the old account isn't a surefire way to keep them trapped, it's just to make them feel trapped. If they had their old PL, they could very rarely send a tweet or something and use that to gauge how much their fans are aware of that account to fallback on. If their old PL is outright deleted, they don't have that ray of hope and they might be afraid of making a new account and getting found out and punished by management.

Actually that's a fair point. After the Cy-Yu(?) thing I probably just registered it as a similar given and didn't really consider the actual difference between "leave it and you can't use it" vs an actual push to delete it all after dumping cash into their new company setup. Browbeating them was fairly well supported with how many people were open about the corpo mentality of pushing them as nothing without the company.
But you're right that I kind of glanced over that implication though. Getting them financially invested by overspending for debut is incredibly shady considering they turn around and eat all your income for it. Then it's that feeling of "I dumped X amount of cash into this so if I leave or get fired that's a waste. And now I can't make shit either." Tidy that up with not getting support in general and yeesh. Yeah you've got real good a point that it's a bit more fucked up than I initially considered.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're finding other ways to keep them indebted throughout their career now.
"You wanted that merch? Yeah, we fronted the production for it, here's your 2%. Now you owe us a third of the cost of production, which was about 4% of the total revenue. Don't worry, we won't ask for it all now, we'll just do a payment plan for you."

Good luck trying to leave when you're in debt to the company and they could have added some nebulous rule like "leaving the company voids any payment plans we've established and we're allowed to demand immediate collection of the rest of your debt." This is all about keeping them under their thumb.

I mean, 2% cut is precisely because they don't pay for merch production. Every dramatuber made fun of it, but they all fail to mention that in agencies with good split you have to pay for a part of production cost yourself. It's a different model, not a strictly worse contract. You don't pay upfront, but your cut is miserable and your merch is dogshit. Even Luxiem who are the golden boys have absolute bottom tier quality merchandise, to the point that sisters were bitching about it on twitter

Aster probably gets away with more because he's incredibly effeminate, and uses that as part of his brand. A lot of people tend to see femboys like him making unwanted advances toward women as less threatening than when other men do it (even if it's equally as uncomfortable for anyone having to deal with it).

You hit the nail on the head. A lot of people give effeminate men a HUGE pass on behaviors that shouldn't ever be tolerated. I've seen it. I've experience it. I've denounce it. It's borderline vexing trying to defend having boundaries against people like Aster, who use their rainbow card, to hide their sexpest behavior and still get a pass from people who aren't experiencing the sexual harassment. "It's all in joke." "He's not like that." "He's so funny in a girl bestie way." Nope! He's a fucking creep, he just dresses more colorfully.

Same here. It's funny, because I figured the little drama pools leak out enough to where the general audience will somewhat notice. I guess, because I'm always here reading and talking about it, that must be the reason it feels that way, but I had no idea this happened and I watched that stream and clips of it as well. I was none the wiser. Guess it's good to get a reminder every once in a while that things you might perceive as drama likely have no affect outside of drama circles.

I haven't read the main thread yet so this may have been posted there already, but former nijifag/current fleshfag Quinn has decided that he doesn't feel welcome in the vtuber sphere. Which is accurate, because no one wants him here. It's shocking how long it took him to realize that he's an outcast and should just fuck off forever.

Yeah no fucking shit he's unwelcome here

No one wants a grade A pretentious woe is me grifter Yamanbafaggot on any space that they call a hobby

Sadly this fucker is just pitybaiting and not actually killing himself in minecraft so there's a lot less filth in this space

Also aster being a legit SEXPEST makes me happy just one more step and the grand reveal of all the sexpests in niji will happen sooner than later putting a massive fucking hole on rikus yacht that the playbuttons can't hope to cover

Anything besides timeline discrepancies is absolute dogshit didnt we have confirmation from that VA he had to leave his VA job to work in niji?
Yeah here's my clip of that

She was also in the Crab game collab as Delulu Delaria. 2nd on the top left. Now I looked again, Sayu is there. That explains why she wasn't Twisty

She also apparently made the thumbnails for that Collab timestamped to her intro

You know, reading this and remembering at the start of this year where anons over on /vt/ were starting to rev up the "it's over" posts because Dokibird used her Throne account requesting for rent for the next month. Made me really think that Nijisanji did actually have some sort of talk with EN management after the whole shitshow!

However, those talks were them taking everything they've experienced and learned from Selen's termination and deciding to willingly learn absolutely every wrong fucking lesson. It's honestly so comically unreal. It's like EN Management is deliberately going down every wrong possible path on purpose just to piss off anyone continuing grasping at threads of hope/cope that things are (eventually) going to get better.

No, and I don't think there are any coming the rest of the year and probably even before Nijifes in February next year.

Petra is not streaming but she is the EN "Ambassador" for the upcoming Nijifes and was a big part of the announcement stream.

Fulgur is slowly going to start resuming his activities.

that's fucking nuts. Hes surprisingly even more of a get then Monarch is including several leading roles (to monarch's arguably 2) in anime people openly talk about. Akihiko in P3 Usado (male lead) in Wrong way to use healing magic. Gabimaru in Hell's Paradise (male lead) even as far back as 2017 he was Tamotsu (Male Lead) in Akiba's Strip the animation.

and your telling him to drop his Career? that's not just malice that's shooting yourself in the foot.

This is all gaslighting and int intimidation by illegal contract terms. Threat is empty. They are employees, anyone can quit anytime and niji will fail to extract any money. I'd wager they won't even attempt to sue anyone overseas if they had two bran cells to rub together, especially in US, but it's nijitards, so...
I'd like to see them lose US court, get investigated by IRS and have all youtube revenue seized. :BibooPopcorn:

You forget that one of their sales pitches for JP is being able to use company's connections to launch your own career as a creator. Obviously affiliated with Nijisanji and they will take a cut from your earnings. The thing that obviously jumps to mind is making music but they have a writer too. What they clearly wanted was for him to continue working as VA, but do it under Nijisanji persona so they can profit from it. In that sense keeping his PL VA persona was entirely counter to their goals. And the cut plus the amount of control on what you will do seems to be really big, considering that JP livers who signed up for music deal were pretty open about not wanting to continue it

I remember the reason Melissa Kinrenka graduated from Nijisanji was because they wanted full ownership of their songs, which the management deemed impossible. Hence, their option was either letting niji keep their song license or graduate and go nuclear on all of their songs/covers under Melissa.
Any other JP livers with music career in Nijisanji right now is 100% ok with this arrangement most likely, Melissa probably felt strongly about their creation since they were already a singer/songwriter even before their niji debut.
I forgot if Kudou Chitose graduated for the same reason but she later become a vocalist for DUSTCELL shortly after her graduation.

Edit: Something else I just remembered is that this enforcement doesn't seem to apply to Kagami Hayato as he also does frequent concerts under his PL and is fairly active there while still doing stuff in Nijisanji under ROF-MAO and Kagami himself, this implies that the contract negotiation could be initiated to make it less restrictive or older livers gets different set of contract altogether.

Or it's a polite way of saying "We don't want you."

If Niji's SOP is to control its livers, then someone with a reasonable career before and outside Niji is a terrible pick because Niji cannot control him.

Niji has to prey on downtrodden failures. Someone like Noel, Reine or Ina, who has something to fall back on, would either just leave again very quickly, or worse, upend the entire system by suddenly being very loud and angry and potentially sparking independent thoughts in some other livers.

Or talk to mom and suddenly it's too late to call for help, your shit's fucked, gg, in Reine's case.

Now, Niji hasn't followed this principle to perfection. IIRC, some of the later gens had six digit sub PL hires. I'd have to look up whether it were exactly these people that have caused trouble in the past year or so.

But even so, a couple 100 k subs aren't quite on the level that Hololive or Vshojo hire.

Rag on Vshojo's habit of hiring established streamers or Hololive occasionally picking people with good careers rather than giving a starving 2view the chance she so desperately needs and deserves, but their willingness to hire people who can and will loudly complain and leave if things go to shit demonstrates that they're not actively malicious and running streaming sweatshops.
