"Look Maria, your numbers are abysmal and if you want to keep your idol dreams alive you have to show a little skin"

Maria's manager, apparently
I mean, that means Mane-san is actually doing something. Already above average by Niji standards.

Just wishful thinking - Sunny could've joined VSPO (like Qpi/Met/Akarin who were indies) and be like their EN LoL person, like Yuuhi.

I'm glad Mogu and Sunny have eachother as support, Mogu sounds a lot more relaxed from what I've caught of the collab.

They also seemed to be really close after everything and Sunny seems to be constantly singing Mogu's praises. Very nice to see and hopefully will keep Mogu interested in streaming

Mogu and Sunny are collabing

Just casually doing a PL collab a couple days after announcing and two weeks before her graduation? Man she really is completely out of fucks at this point.
And to think that some sisters tried to claim that she was happy in Niji and it was le ebil trollerinos and harassers that got her feeling down and worthless.

I've been saying this for months but the only Niji's I genuinely feel bad for are their 2024 EN debuts. They all had to have signed contracts & started prepping before the Selen Incident, so they basically debuted just in time to get a meteor dropped on them that absolutely annihilated their entire company's credibility. Now if they're nepohires sucking up to Elira or whomever, sure, but ones like Vivi and Twisty probably had nothing to do with any of this and got screwed over anyways.

Random things I had in my twitter bookmarks:

At least she's kind of being positive about it.

Ver Vermillion had his outfit reveal and, with that, is now on Hiatus.

【2ND OUTFIT + LORE 3.0 REVEAL】【NIJISANJI EN _ Ver Vermillion】 2-35-10 screenshot.jpg

Kyrio, formerly Hex, subtweeted about it:

And speaking of Kyrio, he talked about getting to meet former colleagues and included silhouettes of Nijisanji Livers on his official clips channel.

In the clip he also mentions that he got two phones, not just one, from Nijisanji, which he will return during his "get together" with Nijisanji Livers. He says some other things, but just watch the clip, it's 5 minutes.
Interesting about it is that it means that his former colleagues will also be in Japan for Nijisanji business, possibly for the big year end music festival thing, possibly for 3D (the silhouettes in the thumbnail are Enna, Vox and Aia with the last one being "theoretically" next in line for 3D).

Got this off /vt/. It seems Uki's 3D debut didn't do so well compared to his genmates.

Since we're using Finana as a metric, Uki's 3D live only did 1/3 of 3D Finana. The traitor leech manager still holds the trophy of 3D debuts at 56k CCV but since that was before they forcefully unalive'd Selen they would need a fucking miracle to come close to those numbers. Actually, if the whole Selen debacle didn't happen, Luxiem and Noctyx should be drowning in CCV pussy. 3D debuts are still a big thing, Vox should've easily hit 100k CCV. Maybe in another timeline though. Right now if you join Nijisanji EN you'd just be swimming in obscurity. I don't see a way out for them especially with how cheap Riku is.

Not only did Lazulight's 3D debut happen before Selen's debacle, it happened at the period where their reputation was at an all-time high.

1. It actually happened before Myth's 3D showcase. Speaking of HoloEN, coincidentally at that time their reputation wasn't really good due to the lack of EN3 and them seemingly focusing on StarsEN instead.
2. The only "bad" thing that has happened to NijiEN at that time was Yugo's graduation.

There's also graphs like this from the numbers thread on /vt/ which might make for good streaming fodder https://i.warosu.org/data/vt/img/0867/29/1728042263609418.png
It's cool how you can poinpoint the stop of HoloEN's slow decline and restart of growth, if small, to Advent's debut. The managers picked the right group to bring up something new to the table and synergise with existing talents. When they debuted I was convinced they'd cannibalise the remaining audience, goes to show what I know about this business.
Then again, that was around my peak Nijisister phase and I was seeing that first hand: You can pinpoint just as well NijiEN's highest point with XSOLEIL's debut in December 2022. The signs that things were stagnating were already there in mid-2022 with ILUNA's debut, but those idiots just kept accelerating.
By Advent's debut in July 2023 everyone in NijiEN had stagnated or was declining and a month earlier Krisis' debut had bombed. I'm sorry for Bandage because it was neat to see a fellow frog in a high-level vtuber corpo, but his group being there made things worse.
Also interesting that the StarsEN lads haven't managed to find a sustainable niche to grow yet. At least they've mostly stopped their decline.
Sorry for the noomba rambling, it's just nice to get a high level retrospective of how things have been going in the industry that is hard to notice in the day to day. At their peak it seemed that Luxiem was much closer to Myth and Lazusydia to Council/Promise than what the stats actually prove.

Just to, y'know, compare one failed homo to another, for posterity on how utterly stingy the male watching Nijisisters are.

So Caspurr averaged ~$6.66 (how fitting) per viewer. Meanwhile Uki's 3D averaged ~$0.23 per viewer. Not even a fucking quarter.

I've said before that if it was the Advent girls who were EN2 instead of Council, I would probably be a Holofag today. Cover really won back the crowd with Advent.

Also true on the absolute peak of Niji being around December 2022, although I noticed that fans of Lazusydia were kind of starting to branch out before then. Luxiem and Noctyx, brought in a different type of fan, so they didn't really cannibalize the existing fanbase. I do think that enthusiasm for ILUNA was already relatively low by debut, considering Niji's acceleration. Didn't help that the ILUNA talents were all kind of meh at debut, with maybe the exception of Maria.

In a vacuum, that's not terrible performance. $3,300 USD beats Bae's chuuni live supa's, for instance.
1000011724.png

Checking Uki's normal supa's is kind of shocking, tho. Like bro, did you actually play "Mouthwashing" and barely get $11 in superchats??? Fauna and Shiori got around $780 and $300 respectively for streaming that.
