Lately i see he's stable at ~500CCV, so he probably not doing worse than in niji. At bare minimum, vtuber stuff can enable him to earn more with merch. Terrible vtuber or not, overall it's a boon to have some 2d character of you. Many creators use just some stylized portrait drawing, but vtuber model is much more marketable.
