These suggestions about cutting management and livers is just Niji absorbing the branch with another name. The fact is that most people don't forgive/forget after fuck ups like this that completely sour the brand regardless of what the company does to fix itself. Neither fixing every single problem or doing absolutely nothing will make any difference on this.

All that will happen either way is that it will stagnate with whatever fans that stayed and eventually, very slowly, start growing again with new fans that aren't familiar with what happened (new to vtubers in general) and old fans that want to watch their oshi again and have cooled their feelings enough to look past what happened. Its going to take years, but EN is going to be "fine." All the collapse that we saw this year really did was speed up what had been happening for over a year anyways.

I think Niji should open a Fansly, that seems to forgive all past sins.

Even if they fired all the ones in the video and Riku committed seppuku on-stream to repent for dishonaahing Seren, people still wouldn't forgive them. Makes no sense to do anything but move forward as-is and just milk the current whales.
I want naked dogeza and live flaying of Hanamori and Riku. This would fix everything, trust me. It would make me happy though

There's just no walking back after two suicide attempts and smearing her during a Neopets stream. They could have cauterized by immediately trying to do anything to reverse course. But they haven't, time has run out.

The best analogy I can come up with on the NijiEN situation is this:

Imagine the Selen situation as a big piece of shit in a bathtub full of water. Now, in cleaning it up the best way to do that is to drain the water and then pick up the shit and start cleaning. What NijiEN management did (I'm looking at you Harry) is they let the shit stand in the water until it dissolved and started to stink. Now instead of draining the bathtub to let the shit sink they threw a huge fucking rock in the bathtub and it made a big splash. Now the whole bathroom is full of shit which will take a long fucking time to clean up. So yeah, the suggestions to clean house would cost them a whole lot and the stink will never fully leave anyway so why waste money on that. Their best move is to just ignore all that has happened, keep doing what they're doing and just let the stink naturally evaporate and salvage what is left.

Sorry about the shit analogy, I was watching a Joey Diaz vid.

The issue with graduating the black screen crew is that you lose out on two moneymakers and the face of the original EN gen in one fell swoop
The rot is too deep. Their window of opportunity to act was somewhere between a week or a month after Selen was terminated. The black screen stream sped that up and closed that window substantially. They needed to take action publicly against the rot, especially the traitorous trio, immediately but they didn't and now their reputation is forever tarnished for it because their inaction is seen as condoning the black screen stream. The whole shitshow was such an entertaining and disgusting display that dramafags not even related to vtubing couldn't help themselves from covering the juicy info, so now the West will never forget what NijiEN did.

I don't see Nijisanji EN being fixable at this point - they've attached too much baggage to watching the talents to make it enjoyable. I like Rosemi, but I don't want to donate to her and have to think about whether that donation also supports the management that made Selen's life miserable. I don't want to be watching a stream and wondering whether the Nijisanji girl I'm watching is also being sexually harassed by Aster, or how miserable the talents that left Nijisanji were and whether the talents on-screen are just as miserable behind the scenes. There's too many cute girls and too many corpos where I don't have to think about what ugliness is happening behind the scenes to make the Nijisanji talents something I'd watch.

The scope of problem is far beyond just management change at this point. Even major changes won't do shit.
The livers are individually unlikable in the public eyes, not just management. The current livers needs to learn japanese or spanish and branch away from the English community if they want to see growth.
At the very least all of the hanamori clique needs to be uprooted and that includes millie/enna.
This is a big part of why I think whatever's going on with Hololive that triggered a graduation spree will wash over them, while Niji will continue spiralling. Every Hololive talent is, at the bare minimum, a likeable person. There is a sizeable general audience who want to support them, who are actively demanding the right kind of improvement that benefits those talents. We'll have to see if anything comes to fruition or if the minor but noticeable outcry landed on deaf ears, but the culture around Hololive right now is constructive, if not entirely positive.

If you're a Nijisanji fan at this moment in time, then unless you're especially selective with who you watch, you're willing to at least tolerate catty, bitchy, clique behaviour - with a lot of people going further and jumping into it themselves when they fight people on Twitter. People like this do not inspire or demand positive change. If the customers will attack someone for being sexually harassed just because they don't like the guy who broke the story, why would the company hold themselves to a higher standard?

It's hard to say what could "save" Nijisanji. They could temporarily patch up their optics by rebranding the EN branch with a new name and putting them under new management, but that won't stop the unfavourable talents from continuing to create problems - and "fire half of your streamers" is not practical in any sense.

Bold of anyone to assume Nijisanji even considers they need some kind of fixing. I highly doubt anyone with non-zero amount of decision making power considers they did something wrong, and that it wasn't entirely the fault of people who are leaving that they didn't fit in with the company values.

It's a valid Thought experiment (Thot experiment?) my main issue with it is there's still so much we don't really know to make informed arguments on what would actually fix said company

Hell it's still up in the air how large the "clique" is kind of hard to propose anything when were lacking such basic information burning it all down would at least be entertaining.

The big problem with trying to attempt to repair Nijisanji EN's reputation is how long it's been since Selen happened, and nothing was done. If it was a few days or even a couple of weeks after the black screen stream, you could accept that delay. It's nearly been a year though, and any attempt to fix things for the future would seem to have an ulterior motive. Secondly, without any real clarity on what occurred, no-one is going to trust Nijisanji to do the right thing, especially when doing the right thing isn't something they've done much of before, at all.

the issue is we don't actually know what the poison is. even with it being soft confirmed the mangers are the problem we have no idea how far that goes or what exactly that means outside "god thats stupid"

we wouldn't know what of niji to salvage if there is even anything worth salvaging.
We very much do know. It's typical jap black corpo culture, and it started with riku himself. He and no one else is personally responsible for everything that happened. So yeah, total top&mid management replacement, not just EN, starting with CEO. Not happening as long as JP is any profitable.
And opportunity window for easy remedy (pay off Doki a couple millions, apologize and shut up) passed in february.

I have some ideas to fix NijiEN. I believe these actions will go well and help fix the issues and ensure Niji is a well respected viable company.

-Nijisanji is losing money. They can't afford to waste even more money, 98%/2% merch splits is a 2% that can go to helping Nijisanji. Have it be a 100%/0% merch split and have the talents gain profit in exposure
-Cut all sponsorship deals. They are risky and might not give returns. Suspend talents who try to seek a sponsorship, terminate those who fight it.
-To prevent further community drama, have talents monitor eachother to earn if they step out of line
-Furthermore to procure a safe and curated environment, lock out live chat and super chats, suspend those who try to bypass with sites like socialbuzz
-Force graduate, terminate if needed, all talents like Rosemi and focus more on talents like Vox and Elira.
-To further prevent controversy, ramp up perm rules. Make it so only in house games are allowed to be played on stream, or Nijisanji fangames.

I believe this will definitely help NijisanjiEN and revive the branch.

Repairing NijiEN's reputation is a "thought experiment" because it can't actually happen in reality. Realistically, there is no unfucking the dragon turkey here. Sometimes you fuck something up beyond all repair, and there's nothing that can be done to fix it. It's over, we're watching the branch slowly bleed out, and eventually it'll be either folded into NijiJP and everyone will be laid off over time or Riku will sell the branch to Brave. Nijisanji is functionally dead in the West, we're just waiting for the vitals to stop.

It's similar how how we saw people immediately start a "civil war" within Hololive because of Fauna's statement and the consistent leaving of talents in short succession, yet we also had an issue they chose not to pay people contracted for them, something that is pretty bad of a company to do. But people immediately forgive Cover even though we have no proof they actually changed in regards to that, since that's a behind the scenes issue; We'd only know once someone contracted speaks out. Fauna mentioned management disagreements, we won't know if things are better, but people are going on the words of say Bae and Kiara. Similar situation in Niji, things could improve, someone could say it has, people still wouldn't believe it especially with the fact if there's an ongoing issue at the time, that will cancel it out in their mind. So it's less "not being fixable" and more "People won't believe it even if it happens." When people, especially in the west, have a view of you that view is normally set in stone, there's no changing it, ESPECIALLY when you start profiting from their negative image.

EN/ID/JP were managed separately and differently, so no it isn't "typical black corp culture", the only thing we can gleam is it's mostly management problems, so while JP is profitable and doing its thing, it doesn't pertain to NijiEN or how its ran, they need to just reset management and how things are being handled there. Doki has already been on record for the last year stating she's dropped it and no longer care to hear about it unless Niji tries to defame her going forward. As much as people wish for Niji death, it's realistically only a huge issue with the EN branch being insanely problematic compared to JP at this time.

Felt like clarifying this since now we're hitting some momentum on this shit. His PL was XigneoN (aka Xignia Krulcifer) and he did a bunch of weird shit on VRC, one of which was that he hosted some weird event called Sexy Sundays on VRC. He got a warning from the VRC moderation team and he was briefly suspended from VRC and Twitch because of it. He eventually decided to move Sexy Sundays to private worlds and not stream it (so it probably became even more degenerate). This should be no surprise because this fag had a patreon where he did NSFW shit with his VRC avatar (patreon.com/xigniakrulcifer).

A bunch of his videos are on B2. While he did do VRC shit, he also did a lot of League of Legends shit and supposedly he was #1 ranked Kassadin main in NA at one point (8 years ago) so his turbo seethe about Finana making fun of his shitty play REALLY lines up. It really makes sense for a 1 trick pony that was #1 at their 1TP at one point to seethe because they haven't played in eons and some random woman is calling him shit.

So yeah, he is a turbo degen that's probably eternally seething about going from having his own little degen fiefdom in the VRC community and having LoL fans adore him because he was a Kassadin 1TP to now being a lesser known person that is an afterthought at best and retarded women in his own company are making fun of his LoL play.

It seems some over at r/Kurosanji put everything together about his PL on a Document. dunno if there is something new

Years from now, I really hope someone writes a book like "The Death of WCW" but for Nijisanji. There have been so many missteps and scandals just in the past year alone that someone really needs go through and catalog every single one of them in great detail. I'd preorder a copy.
