Nijigen Expo has quite a number of NijiEN events for December. I went to check out the opening of an Animate outlet at LaLaport in Kuala Lumpur earlier today and as it happens there was also a NijiEN collab cafe next door.

Everything in the store looks pretty nice and they sold food and merch featuring Ver, Maria, Enna, Finana, Millie and Sonny. Funny thing is that if this was setup a year ago I would have supported them.





Also, Ver and Maria made an appearance at Nijigen last weekend and next weekend will see Denauth making an appearance.



If Twisty does get terminated in the next week or so it’ll pretty much fuck up this event. Let’s see but I don’t have a good feeling about it.

I feel like if they actually had a graduation or termination tax it would've been mentioned offhandedly already, too many people terminated (Zaion, Selen) or graduated for something that fucked to pass by. All we know is that they do sometimes take away game accounts if they remember to do so, (Doki's Epic games acc, iirc they forgot about Matara's accounts) I think the "leaked" contract mentioned that they could weasel into taking anything you bought specifically for streaming and iirc Doki mentioned she had to buy a new setup shortly after redebuting. Leading some small amount of validity to that clause

Niji could never get away with that legally speaking. Even them asking for equipment back and making the talents pay for the shipping (Matara and Michi have both confirmed that Niji still owes them money over this IIRC) is very sketchy, it's just not worth the few hundred bucks to take Anycolor to court over it. We've seen the base talent contract at this point as well, and I don't recall seeing something that extensive in there.

I am sure things are swell for the people he is closest to, aka the popular ones who already got all the support they could ever want. I bet people who came after Noctyx have a vastly different opinion on whether management cares about them.

This clause, even if it existed in any signed contracts, is utterly unenforceable in any jurisdiction.

We've seen the base talent contract at this point as well, and I don't recall seeing something that extensive in there.

Should be mixed bag, as always. Top streamer's suicide attempt could've been genuine wake up call at least for some managers.

somehow i doubt things have improved that markedly since Feb if there were atleast 3 graduations (Kunai, Vivi, Hex) and the first two have talked about various feelings and wierd niggles they had to be under. I know he says its not related to recent events but this recent thing is also something that had been brewing for months in the rumor mill.

The video itself just compares vtubing to a regular jobs and kinda smugs about his recent twitter posting, while smugly saying that his old restaurant job was worse than vtubing management can ever be, he also takes time to complain about that one comment with no likes that was wrong about him Tax evading

Luxiem has kept on trucking with their current fanbase even when they lost the general like they had from random clips here and there. And to pickup a rrat many where talking about in the Holo thread, Maybe they really do get special treatment compared to everyone else, the wierd nags like Scarle being missing and having Fulgur's PL talk for her and reassure twitter wouldnt happen under a competent mangement. I honeslty think this video wasnt that reassuring about current Niji and more smugging about his recent twitter spats.

Then again, i think Kuro is a bit of a tard, so maybe someone with less bias can express an opinion on this
