I think the app itself is a death knell. The reality is that the sheer variety of content on the Internet has made us ADHD to the point where nobody is going to put any effort into seeking out entertainment on a new platform when there is hours upon hours of it being spoonfed to us right where we already are. With online media you're working in an environment where if your website takes more than two seconds to load, the user will have clicked off to another tab and got distracted by something else; you can't afford to place any hurdles between the user and the thing you're trying to sell them.

Probably the only thing he said that made any level of sense, people need contract reading lessons. Or be told how to get that shit checked out by someone professional.
