It's fucking incredible to host a convention that relies 99% on remote appearances without thinking to check if the venue's internet connection and tech setups are dogshit first.
All these problems remind me of when the Pokémon Go servers went down on the day of an official meetup event.
All hotel internets are terrible. I've never been in one that didn't throttle your connection after a gig of data.
