I got a smart car used as my first vehicle for 6k. It was dogshit, was able to somehow get a trade in value of 4k years later and get into a toyota. There's a reason they arent in production anymore. Just getting a tire for the damn thing took a week of waiting because they had to ship it in. The rear wheel and front wheels are different diameters. I could rant about the many inconveniences of them but sticking with jap shit for commuting is the play. But I was young and dumb.
