Your a monster. At least Myst or Exile is only 1/2 obtuse puzzles but no you chose Riven which is exclusively obtuse puzzles.

Footsteps help convey emptiness which most horror games want but if you don't have a good/proper sound effect or overplay it you end up with our friend here wandering around the mansion in his wetsuit going by the sounds.

Seems like an easy fix, just tone down the footstep sound by like 30% and add a faint echo on it, seems like it would convey the feeling well. And probably toning down the background effects a bit.

Thats not even taking into account Pippa's whole thing about variety. If she had to do a donothon she'd lose her mind by the second day cause she would try being "on" the whole time with a bunch of different things lined up.

Pippa's need their rest, the pressure of the spotlight can kill them much like how fear can kill rabbits.

I was, but it could go either way, and kind of both in this case. Being stalked by the Pippa would be enjoyable.
