I'm gonna be honest bros I thought this game was like Wario Land not Sonic. I've never played a Sonic game so I wouldn't really understand how it's like Sonic though.

Honestly it is built like a merger of the two. The moveset is very Wario but the speed and platforming fits moreso to Sonic.

The way a skilled player (not Pippa) could pull off fast twitch reactions to obstacles (jumping/sliding etc.) to pull off a satisfying chain of uninterrupted speed reminds me of Sonic.
