Pippa and Kirsche proclaim some races are better than others.
Some game devs have taken advantage of this. As much as I love Baldur's Gate 3, Act 1 is definitely way more polished than Acts 2 and 3, partially because Act 1 was open to early access so they had the whole community essentially beta testing it. I think only like ~25% of the playerbase has passed Act 1 so far so they don't know how the rest of the game is. The whole game is great but all the bugs in Acts 2 and 3, so all the reviewers only saw Act 1 and will say the game has no bugs.
