/vt/ reporting a widespread demonetization of Brave group talents. Currently appears that all V4Mirai talents except Serina, REM, Yumi and Pom, and all Idol talents except Kai, Lisa, Tonya, and Momo (who is on hiatus) are effected. Daisy Dandelion seems to have been demonetized mid-stream and later showed the following:
If this turns out to be true this might be the smoking gun that proves Brave has been botting, as a widespread crackdown like this seems a lot less likely to be YouTube bots running amok.

It's probably a false-flag but it'd be so funny if Brave actually got caught botting.
I'll link my own analysis on the v4mirai botting situation here. I personally believe that Brave has been botting for a long time at this point. They're already an extremely shady business that seems to just throw money at issues. I have no hard evidence but I'm going to assume that the general principles I laid out in this post will apply to the demonetized accounts as well.
They were legitimately a success until they willingly inserted a loaded shotgun into their own mouths and pulled the trigger while avian cackling filled the air. Youtube simply doesn't have the resources to care if a channel that has tens of thousands of active subs and viewers bots to a degree. It makes them money on some level, after all. Facebook has been caught red-handed admitting it lets scams stay up if they drive engagement and profit for the platform. But if the numbers are accurate, Brave has been botting channels like v4Mirai by over 50-1 in terms of bots vs actual live viewers. That isn't profitable for Youtube. They have incentive to clamp down on that.
I think this is a malicious third party testing new bots to trigger Youtube AI, remind me when some trolls on indonesia managed to find a way to nuke channels by just spamming and self reporting themselves in chat with some link and youtube was big brain enough not to nuke the chatter but nuke THE ENTIRE CHANNEL with even some Hololive ID getting the nuke

Wasn't that people using porn for their channel avatars that would then appear in chat widgets on screen? I'd heard that's what folks were doing instead of links. Would explain why I've also not been seeing chat avatars on screen for a long while.
