The Fubuki game has a demo out.
Right now she's working on free updates on the current model:She should invest that into it and start selling DLC, make a company out of it or something.
Constantly updating the old model isn't a bad way to go. It can greatly extend the sales life of a product, like it does for games like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Terraria and so forth, and will only become a more compelling purchase for beginner vtubers as more features and customization options are added.

Actually I wonder why the fuck does vtubers on dead corpo always sign away their rights to credit themselves.
I would imagine the only thing stopping vtubers from saying "I used to voice XXX from company #000000" is NDA. But why the fuck are you signing them when the company itself is going down and offer you nothing in exchange?
And if the initial contract has clauses forbidding you to do it. It means jack shit when the company you first signed it to is dissolved.
Feels like it is a failure of negotiation rather than the failure of the entire industry.

They just need to put:
"I have 12 years of experience working as a vtuber
I gained 100k subs in 2 months
I have experience working with a japanese/foreign company"
And they can do all of that without breaking NDA or putting their old name on papers, can save it until being verbally interviewed.
I think any employer would care about those hard statistics more than random names that they have to search up.
I can tally the streamlabs donation if there is an easier way than watching the streams normally and waiting for it.
Still kaela is getting shit ton of SCs and ollie was near her level in SCs 2 years ago. So the shift away from youtube sc must have happened very recently. I dont think the timeline with "it has always been this way" is correct.
I do think I came off too passive agressive there but I am also naturally passive agressive I guess.

They seem to be doing surprisingly well, enough for Gen 2 to already be underway, and I only recall one small incident but they haven't even been around for a year yet.

In addition to the shock factor, I think Pixel is just an easy target for corpo-haters who feel vindicated by the wave of company closures in the past year.
The girls are well-liked and fairly well-connected (e.g. VSMP + the Holo alts who commented on Raki's donothon announcement), and Pixel was perceived (rightly or wrongly) as "one of the good ones". So if you were already convinced that there's no such thing as a good corpo, Pixel would be an excellent example.
I guess the hypothetical comparison here would be if Phase had something on the level of the Yuri termination today, and how many people would latch on to it as proof that Phase was bad all along, despite everything we've seen and heard to the contrary.
I honestly blame the Selen incident for this sense in the community that every corpo is secretly hiding NijiEN-tier skeletons in its closet. I don't doubt that there are tons of fly-by-night corpos who do burn their talents, but (and this is my own bias perhaps), I really don't think Pixel was one of them.
At best, what can be thrown at the company is the IP issue, because there is a solid number (10K USD*) attached to Raki's IP now. Naturally, some would see the amount as extortionate, when it would go to waste otherwise. But we've already discussed it extensively here in this thread and in the Pixel thread why things ended up this way.

But hey, if that works for her, then all the more power. I don't care how one runs a hustle, in today's hellscape of whorestreamers, findommes and worse, you do what you have to in order to make it work.
