The music industry has quite a few examples of people faking musical or dancing ability. Having someone pretend to dance for someone else in the vtuber format is just the latest version of this.
Still, doing this misses the point. In vtubing we don't mind scuff or lack of ability, if you have an oshi and she's performing on stage you probably don't mind her acting like a bit of a spaz if that's their character. They can practice and learn dance later and that story arc of self-improvement can be part of the reason you support them and want them to do well. We don't need someone to fake their performance.

I can't really blame them, it could be cheaper if you have a team of skinwalkers to shit out slop for shorts and skits. If their fans don't mind skinwalker concerts then good for them, sucks for the girls but it's business at the end of the day.
To go for a completely-opposite example to what Brave's trying to do that IMO still supports the principle of what you're saying, everyone knows Lia was initally super-bad at singing, to the point of her telling her audition story of "Wow you really can't sing for shit, you're hired btw".
She still isn't the best at it now and will realistically never reach the level of top-tier Phase singers, but people didn't care, they went crazy about her dancing on stage and actually fulfilling her idol dream.
It's not at all uncommon for parts of performances to be faked in any kind of entertainment; singers are pitch-corrected and mime on stage, bands have stand-in session musicians, actors have stunt-doubles, authors/comedians/rappers have ghostwriters etc., but if they want to get away with it they need to either be painfully obvious about what they're doing from day one so fans understand what's happening, or pull it off completely undetected. You need to either never break the illusion, or don't bother establishing the illusion to begin with.
Brave fucked up by being indiscreet about recruiting the body-doubles. If you've seen this job advertisement now then it's going to be very difficult to enjoy any 3D shows from them going forward without subconsciously wondering which parts were done by the credited talent and which parts where done by a stand-in.
Pippa had a Taiwanese skinwalker during the WondersAI arc, but it was obvious because she could somehow magically run around on stage performing the songs after barely managing to stand up for a few minutes at a time during the Q&As where she was controlling it herself (and Lumi leaked it on Discord too which was funny), but if Brave want to convincingly pass this off as real... good luck, and rest safe in the knowledge this has absolutely never backfired on anyone ever before.

The disclaimer of "You might be forwarded to another group" sounds like they are recruiting specifically for v4mirai/globie/idol.
Their studio and equipment is in Japan, they have all these equipment that they might have bought more than they needed, laying around unused because their EN branch are split across the world (same issue as HoloEN, talents are too far apart for a EN studio)
Might as well hire someone to come into those JP studios to make use of the equipment and try to boost the popularity of their 2-views EN by making shorts and tiktok, which they also outlined

The "maintenance and organization of the motion capture studio" part also sounds susge. It sounds like they built more studios than there are staffers maintaining them.
So in paper this makes a lot of sense, but in reality DONT FUCKING PUBLICLY ANOUNCE IT YOU FUCKING MORONS. If you are going to do it just fucking do it secretly.
now if you see any idol/v4mirai/globie doing dances on youtube shorts, you know they are getting skinwalked.
At least when people start leaving they'll already have people ready to replace them.
I'm going to play devil's advocate here a little bit:
Holo uses motion actors too, they just do background dancing and help with choreography rather than actually skinwalking the characters. Bae gets along famously with her backup dancers, for example:
May be that Brave is simply recruiting backup dancers that would bounce around to different groups depending on who's recording concerts/3D material. I don't think it's 100% for sure they're going to be skinwalking just yet.
