I don't know too much about League lore, but after they turned Mel into MBJ(magical black jesus) in Arcane S2, i'm betting on her being the key player in Swain's takeover, while Swain himself takes all the credit for a woman's work, as she is just too modest.
It really depends on what we're dealing with in the timescale here. Swain's takeover plot took years even after finding and attain Raum's power but the play to take Noxus was resolved in a single night by Swain's forces, with him killing Boram Darkwill, the Emperor of Noxus at the time, in front of a room full of followers. Whether or not that's happened yet would be the main thing, because after that the Trifarix or however it's spelled is founded with Swain as one of the three "leaders". He'd already be in power with not much else to take control of besides even more expansion. Mel wouldn't have a lot to do in that, and I kind of doubt that Riot would just throw out all of Swain's backstory to say "Actually it was this black girl".
Since we see one of Swain's ravens picking at something in the ending shots, I kind of presume he's already in power and just collecting whatever extra power he can muster. The timeline is kind of a huge fuck and Arcane is already an alternate universe where even the geography of Piltover/Zaun is different, so who knows. Various sources say Arcane takes place between 900-990AN (wow thanks fuckers) but the battle at the Placidium where Swain lost his arm and began his quest to find Raum was around ~984AN, which took at least 3 years since Irelia was 14 when she cut off his arm in battle and she lead the resistance for at least that long before the war ended post Darkwill's assassination by the demon-empowered Swain. If the season cinematic Riot came out with is hinting at anything relative to the timeframe though, Darius is only sent off into Freljord, where he's fighting Trundle, after Swain's establishing of the Trifarix and naming Darius as the Leader of Might, which means he's already 'won'.
They could throw all that out and just be gay though. All that can fuck off however because I want a show about Teemo.

Homosexual 3-way polyamory? Finally, some representation!
Edit: Cool that they confirmed Jayce x Viktor was not a gay ship though? I always think about the CS Lewis quote when shipping is brought up by the twitter/tumblr crowd: "Those who cannot conceive Friendship as a substantive love but only as a disguise or elaboration of Eros betray the fact that they have never had a Friend."
I don't get why is everyone suddenly autismmaxxxxxing about League lore, when it's obvious the showrunners and even Riot themselves don't give a shit about the lore themselves. Just look at Machine Herald.

Most holo uses dual PC setup I'm pretty sure. There's probably a well-documented procedures and how to because they are a corpo and that's what a corpo supposed to do, providing technical supports/know-hows.
But tbh the real reason a manual exist might be because korone nuked her building

Everyone hates playing league but loves league lore.
Riot had to retconned an entire storyline because of player backlash and how it conflicted with old lore. Not the first time Riot didn't care, but also not the first time "everyone other than riot" cared.
That being said the convo was "I hope the fat white man rape the shit out of the strong independent girl so the lesbian/gay copers can neck themselves"
Some clips from Bae's stream with her friend yesterday.
Grindstone has been practicing for their part in the game tournament. They are doing pretty well, as expected. They have good coordination with each other.
This tweet that shows her logged into the Yuko account has been up for over two days now, even though people in the replies have pointed out the yab. She does not give a single fuck, it's kind of funny.

Why would you have a talent graduate from a corpo and not remove their access to their corporate social media accounts? I can't think of a single reason to allow access and you're only opening yourself up to problems in the future if the former talent decides to cause trouble.
