Thinking about how there are quite a lot of "Vsingers" who would've been called 'utaite' 10 years ago, that basically do live performances in the flesh and vtube irregularly.
Off the top of my head, AZKi/nayuta's La priere group and the other 2 girls in it who stream somewhat weekly,
Ado is arguably in this category, but she doesn't stream much on youtube anymore (used to do twitcasting more, iirc archives still up).
the VALIS girls of course, KAF/KAIKA, some big oldheads like Hanatan, Hanon and her groups etc.
There was also a recent 'musician vtubers' doing a live band concert in Osaka (which got a bomb threat called in but that's another story).

I have to wonder if "standard" Vtuber concerts are worth the investment, especially 2D shows.
The tech & staff drives up the price, limits venue choices, and you end up with a product that's not really competitive.

Kind of linked, Tacitly Ciel's graduation is right after NTT closes their "XR BASE" thing in Akiba, where Tacitly did a lot of live shows with AR/VR.
Guessing they've ran out of money to pump into advertising AR/VR and it's not generating any returns.

She said she was in talks with VShojo for over a year, way longer than the auditions. So I think she's not an audition hire.

Like others have said before, a singular debut makes no sense when looking at the JP debuts. I think the actual audition debuts are still coming.

It doesn't really help any of the Nepohire accusations because that's basically what she is, again. If you know the right people and are big enough, the Vshojo doors will open for you and you can skip the entire audition. Its not quite cronyism because shes somewhat qualified for sure, but its still not a good look overall.
Those auditions better only have 2 views that made the cut or the Nepohire corpo allegations will continue to stick.

More Ame/dooby lore. It seems like she was already in the process of designing her model back when Selen redebuted on February 2024. This basically confirms the common narrative that Ame had been planning her graduation for a very long time, possibly a year even. Before this, the only confirmation we had was that Myth knew about it as early as May 2024.

This might be cope, but she could have made that new design with no graduation in mind yet. Just wanting to double-dip and stream more on the side without leaving, like some of the Stars do. And the nail in the coffin might have come later in 2024 still.
