The wigger instantly unfollowed him, removed his music from her streams and cut all ties. Motherfucker could've been like faketype making music for Korone or Kay making animations for MVs if he'd resisted the urge to farm some internet clout and moralfag points. Just wanted to highlight some pink woman good (Not that one). Ceci's been streaming DS3 for about 13 hours now as the finale to her birthday week. Calli had a stream scheduled for the start of the hour, but delayed it 15 minutes so she could chat with Ceci, give her some tips and make sure she's doing okay. And this is after she already joined VC a few hours ago with Biboo and Raora.

I don't understand why Mouse change her vtuber model frequently, like she should just stick to one or three models.

That's what she does most of the time. She has maybe 2 to 3 main models at a time that she will use on rotation. Most of the models in that list are either:
- One-offs for Music Videos, Concerts or other events
- 3D models that she doesn't use for regular streams/only uses in VRChat
- Seasonal outfits like Halloween, and I'm sure she has a Christmas themed one coming
- Joke/Chibi models based on other existing outfits

I think it's kind of impressive how Mouse can have so many models and have them all recognisably "her". You wouldn't mistake them once you knew her. Aside from a few, they're all pretty tightly wound up in her brand and in about 3 different base appearances.

That too, Ironmouse has pretty strong brand recognition. Most of the main models really are just a wardrobe and hairstyle change. The only thing that is often inconsistent is her horns.

The whole debut and graduation of meica from Idol just goes to show the point that the LATAM segment is really not hard-weeb'd enough to support vtubing. It's one thing to catch a stream casually, but what corpos and indies seek are dedicated, obscenely brain-wiped zealots who will pour down those supachats and merch orders every step of the way.
You can't make the excuse that "but LATAMs are too poor" because look at ID, and those guys have had a non-functioning economy since 1997.

They went pretty hard on kpop music side - grinding Melon charts etc. IIRC they got Billboard weekly top 3 for South Korea some time ago.
When they started, they did public public auditions on VRChat, idol talent competition style a la Produce 101, at a time when that style of reality TV was still arguably peaking.
Korean Pewdiepie drove the whole thing and later signed them, so there's no fumbling around learning how to market streamers.
Getting serious sponsors - LG, Lego, Nvidia, AMD, Naver etc. looks really good.

Also after Korea cut off Twitch earlier this year, that entire side of "online entertainment" is insanely well-contained to Afreeca (now renamed SOOP).
I think it's quite a different thing from "vtubing" as we understand it and I don't think it's replicable in any other market.
Very few people on this forum would be interested in how they do things.

No EOPs and no yabs, just two completely unrelated facts btw.
Maybe Koreans are so desensitized to being parasocial with kpop idols that vtubers/streamers seem relatively distant lmao.
Look into PLAVE if you guys want to experience being oddly impressed by highly skilled dudes but it doing nothing for you since you're heterosexual.

No seriously, yes. Isegye was founded out of an reality-tv-style audition show hosted by massive korean streamer Woowakgood and they've always done Hololive numbers from the start. Originally all their models were VRChat free models and they basically individualized them taking advantage of community-made models, hired talent from the community for MVs and concerts and so on. It's like if Hololive grew from grassroots support instead of being a corpo. Mind you this was after Hololive had already boomed so they had a lot of the gen and idol and fanwork concepts baked into vtuber fandom already.

Just being honest here: I think Korean vtubing was tremendously lucky that Isegye happened the way it did. It was only a matter of time before the corporate interests in the kpop scene wanted in on girl group vtubing, we're seeing that now in 2023 and 2024. If one of those groups was the first, rather than it being Wakgood crafting this semi-indie thing out of whole cloth, there would be some serious problems that Isegye thankfully doesn't have.

I remember when IdolES was gonna be the HoloEN of the jews, bringing vtubing to a whole new market! Except all of us latinos have said a gazillion times that vtubing isn't popular here and the people who care about it already watch Holo or Phase or whatever.
