This is true. Holofans will go all out on shitting at Cover for something like a missing or delayed tweet (eg. them being slow at tweeting about Mumei 1M milestone).
TBH I was never able to identify with those complaints. Sure, they can justify it as those being very very important tweets, but in the end they are still tweets. I care more about substantial stuff like projects, outfits, 3D lives, etc.

Apparently internet artists raked her over the coals for not giving them enough time and not paying them enough to participate in her contest. She's updating the terms to give contest participants 6 weeks to draw instead of 4 and giving them a total prize pool of 8k instead of 5k. She cried about it last night and is still tempted to pull the plug on the contest, and no matter the outcome she will not do another one anytime soon. No seriously, yes. Isegye was founded out of an reality-tv-style audition show hosted by massive korean streamer Woowakgood and they've always done Hololive numbers from the start. Originally all their models were VRChat free models and they basically individualized them taking advantage of community-made models, hired talent from the community for MVs and concerts and so on. It's like if Hololive grew from grassroots support instead of being a corpo. Mind you this was after Hololive had already boomed so they had a lot of the gen and idol and fanwork concepts baked into vtuber fandom already.
Their only real competition in the korean market is Hololive itself.
I don't understand why Mouse change her vtuber model frequently, like she should just stick to one or three models.

Today is Meica graduation of Idol. Which is not going to affect much in her career considering she always owned her IP.
I think it's kind of impressive how Mouse can have so many models and have them all recognisably "her". You wouldn't mistake them once you knew her. Aside from a few, they're all pretty tightly wound up in her brand and in about 3 different base appearances.
And Calli immediately put her boot on the neck of the shithead who started it, and the Holofans came out immediately with pitchforks for artists. These artists don't understand the consequences until the intimidation stage. Skipping into the kowtow stage only emboldens them and they will probably use it as a shield against angry Matara fans.
To be fair, this is just a problem with Japan's copyright autism, it creates an inherent conflict of interest since the publisher of the product being critiqued has final say over whether said critique can be published or not. It places the power entirely in the copyright holder's hands which scares the talent agencies into playing nice with them, since any permission they have to create derivative works can be taken away just as easily as it was given. They don't want to risk a situation where a particular publisher is upset with a stream about one of their games and revokes permission across the board, since Cover saw first-hand how damning having to remove huge portions of their channels' video libraries can be.
You see a similar problem in English-speaking countries in gaming journalism. Reviewers have to request pre-release copies of a game from the publisher in order to have their review prepared in time for the game's official release. Some publishers are hands-off and distribute them through middleman companies, but they still have the means to blacklist specific outlets if they so desire - which leads to most reviewers shamelessly fellating every mainstream AAA game, because they don't want to risk losing the pageviews that come from having day-one coverage of hotly-anticipated releases.
Japan's copyright problem is just a worse version of that, since not only can publishers inconvenience people who're too critical of their products like they do with journos over here, but they have the means to strike down unwanted coverage and severely cripple the businesses of those doing it.
