If true, then Loki has successfully convinced Sakana to free up IRL content. As a result Sakana is allowing it Phase-wide. Some members will do it and some won't.

The remaining restrictions are: middle face must be censored (hair and ears are fine) and no nips/panty shots. Rest is fair game for those that want to become 2.5D

Loki fought with Sakana because she doesn't mind showing her real face, but Sakana stayed strong with that restriction, insisting they're still a vtuber company.

Her IRL content will include but not be limited to workout videos, vlogs, travel, hair styling etc. She is also planning more sensitive stuff for members-only, likely to include lewd oppai cosplay.

As long as Clara doesn't interpret "real life" to include bringing up her "real-life" politics on stream, I think it'll be fine.

Plus Loki is one of the only vtubers who is arguably even more IRL than her model, so I give her a pass

To be honest, intermediate bots can play over aggressive and actually kill new players a lot because they dont care about farming or laning like normal.

I only noticed sometime recently they changed custom games to default to intermediate and yeah, they will fuck you up if you're not familiar with the game or the particular intricacies of how the bot AI processes risk vs reward.

Strictly 2D/Animated ones? Always playing second fiddle to Japanese and even western guys. I don't get Stan culture, K-Pop or any of that.
Also, I don't fuck with Korean men's fashion and aesthetic, it just all looks a bit weird to me.

Quickly looking at PLAVE, yeah I don't think I like it for all the same reasons I wouldn't ever watch fleshie K-Pop boy groups.

They went pretty hard on kpop music side - grinding Melon charts etc. IIRC they got Billboard weekly top 3 for South Korea some time ago.
When they started, they did public public auditions on VRChat, idol talent competition style a la Produce 101, at a time when that style of reality TV was still arguably peaking.
Korean Pewdiepie drove the whole thing and later signed them, so there's no fumbling around learning how to market streamers.
Getting serious sponsors - LG, Lego, Nvidia, AMD, Naver etc. looks really good.

Also after Korea cut off Twitch earlier this year, that entire side of "online entertainment" is insanely well-contained to Afreeca (now renamed SOOP).
I think it's quite a different thing from "vtubing" as we understand it and I don't think it's replicable in any other market.
Very few people on this forum would be interested in how they do things.

I don't watch PLAVE but their 3D models and tracking are only second to Kamitsubaki Studio. Isegye would be just behind IMO and I would watch them if they streamed on YT. Curious if Hololive can break into the market as most KR streamers that collab with VSPO, Niji and Holo cater to the JP audience.
