Listened to it on my drive, and I like it! I think my favorite is one of the newer songs, Hikari. Listened to it a few times on the drive. Botan's singing is very nice in it, as well as all the other songs. Good job to her on this. Very nice.

I am no expert so I honestly don't know. IP for Ririsya, I assume, would be her Name and Likeness plus earnings avenues. Signing a contract with an investor with stipulations for the return of the investment amount and a share of profits before and after doing so could be something short of owning IP. Additionally, such a contract could have a sunset, buyout clause or investor option to continue the contract unless an opt-out fee is paid. Assuming such contracts are viable the investor would have the option to go to court to recoup losses but would not have access to IP.
Anyways, I am sad I missed Fubuki's live, live. I thought the Holoplus app would help but I don't remember a notification. Hololive subreddit has given up on promoting JP events and the vt sub only has indie posts so you have to swim thru the weekly. Are the Wiki and the JP twitter the best places to get JP news? Where do ya'll usually get keep up with HoloJP? Discord? VT? I'll admit VT is quite useful for JP events.

Even if you "offer something new" you still arent guaranteed to be success. Anything about entertainment industry has never been about talent. It's about marketting. Do you think Nicki Minaj is the greatest female rapper who ever lived?
If you want a career in the streaming scene, you need to befriend bigger streamers. Getting in on a company at its core is just having someone else befriending bigger streamers for you. My favorite non-vtuber example is "tinakitten", she doesnt have any talent, isn't in anyway funny, her entire stick is being "kinda cute". Instead of pressing go live. She spent 2 entire years behind the scene marketting and infiltrating OTV and she become big the moment she started streaming. If you dont want the hard route, going to twitchcon and have sex with bigger streamers is probs the shortest path.
Even if you go absolute viral it wont amount to stream numbers and ultimately income. There are so many tiktok/shorts merchant that aint earning much due to horrible adshare on those platform.
There is also the case of codemiko, offered something new and went viral. But quickly losing viewership, fumbled every marketting opportunity. She still has a decent 1k average ccv to this day, but not a single one of them are there to see the vtuber codemiko, all of them are there for the flesh streamer and ended up selling the vtuber model.
For streams I mainly use Holodex, most talents schedule their stream way in advanced so you wont be missing important streams. Holodex even had schedule on the Fubuki x Yuuki Aoi yesterday, a stream that happened in a random ass japanese app under the Hologoe project.
Idk about specific events and random news though. I just read the misc events using TVA lolw.

What profits though? If you write a contract saying you get a share of YouTube profits, they can stream on Twitch. If you write a contract saying a share of all streaming profits, they can sell merch and take sponsorships. If you close off all those routes, they can sublicense their likeness to a separate entity that then does all the moneymaking.
If you want a revenue share deal (and a new vtuber probably can't pay a reasonable flat fee, so that's the only sensible option), the only safe way to do it is a share of the entity that owns the character, or a share of all revenue generated directly or indirectly from the character - which is either going to mean owning a share of the character IP, or having such broad rights over it that it's essentially equivalent to ownership.

Your example is correct but also exists for corpos, remember Yuri? PC owned that IP and still lost out (on future income). From there the difference is IP vs. monetary damages and PC has Yuri's IP but as far as I know not the money. Can you give an example where an investor recouped their investment by utilizing the IP? I can think of a few where they tanked the value instead.
The contract itself can stipulate where and how the IP earns income relative to the agreement. From there if the contract is broken, maybe discord sessions with simps, then contractual penalties are applied. The more I think about it the less I think IP ownership is worth it.
