One of the most memorable Matsuri clips for me was her going through this after an Apex Tournament (coincidentally with Towa being a teammate) and despite people blaming her and her blaming herself and apologizing for not playing as well as she'd like, she vowed it wouldn't be her last and she would do better the next time. I don't know how that went afterward as I don't pay much attention to her or Apex, but I like that mindset:

I shall be the bearer of bad news. Matsuri never ended up placing any better. She finished that tournament on 4th and had several other 4th finish later on.
She did grind alot and got... too good to win. Unlike towa who stayed at platinum and get really good at 1 support character and has the option of being carried by expro players/vspo best girls (and she did win several tourneys this way)

Matsuri actually hit master in apex and has to be the carry against teams with those ex-pros because of the point system and those expro has the same points as she does, meaning she could never play with them but has to outdo them to win.

His whole schtick is clout-chasing, someone probably told him the race card wouldn't work for this one so he's walking it back. I don't trust this attention whore at all.

He's a professional vulture, my guy knows this random niggo is never going to win in the court of public opinion against Holo in their own turf so he picked the winning side before anyone could whoop his cowardly ass. God knows that if Holo fucked up a bunch and was looked upon in a worse light he wouldn't give 2 shits, these people have no allegiances to anything or anyone.
