I don't know what Rie was doing, but this is what was happening on the other end of the conversation:
I just skip a stream if I'm not in mood for it, or mute it and check back later. I think it helps to not actually get burnt out on the ones I like if I don't feel obligated to watch them if I'm not feeling it. Maybe it's fickle but it helps preserve the joy of watching them when I am in the mood. There's a lot of streams I've never got around to watching to, so there's no reason to finish something I'm not enjoying.

I wouldn't say bored, but my mood does change from time to time on who I would rather spend my time watching. Granted, I think Lumi will always be at the top of the list for me, but others kind of get swapped in and out depending on my mood or if they're doing something especially interesting.
For example, as much as I love Pippa, I haven't watched her streams that much lately because I haven't been much in the mood to watch her react to dumb/goofy shit (nothing against her doing this, she's still hilarious while doing so) or especially her fan submitted content streams. I've been more in the mood lately watching Ember playing Fallout 76, or watching a chill Erina stream, or watching Airi lose 100+ lives in Donkey Kong Country in a single stream.
At the same time, like @Titanosaurus said, there are a lot of streamers out there that I like, but don't watch much of because I don't have the time, so sometimes I try to make time to watch a different streamers and take breaks from others.
So yeah, it's less boredom and more not having time to watch everyone I'd like to and wanting to rotate some in and out.
On that note, at the risk of sounding cringe and gay, I'd like to say I appreciate you all keeping us updated on your oshis because while I may never end up watching some of them, I've found myself interested in the happenings of some vtubers that get posted often in this thread like Rin, Kaela, Chinchilla, etc. Makes things more fun around here outside of just posting about what I actively watch.
yeah merry sure am worried about the guy who has been hosting his youtube show as if interacting with a live audiance for years and has even started actual streaming recently. Has a natural or at least well practiced charisma and years of practicing speech to make it fluent and natural.
