• Too early for a new idolEN gen but not impossible
• Just an actual break considering she was talking about her waiting for her doctor's advise a stream ago
• Possible Phase Gen3 (Sakana did mention gen3 is gonna launch late 2023 in a Pippa stream) since all her friends (Ember, Dizzy and Jelly) are in the company anyway plus Sakana was spotted in one of Purin's karaoke streams and she acknowledged Sakana's presence as well

In much the same way, while she believes she had a meaningful role in creating Holo EN... auditions were announced within four months of her debut. I am rather doubtful that someone who was streaming for four months had the clout to influence that. Keeping in mind that the staff decisions leading to the auditions being announced would take several months, too.

And pre Coco Matsuri or Choco weren't exactly what I'd describe as safe content, either. The "Erolive" nickname precedes Coco, too. One might form the impression that Coco's reputation for "Pushing boundaries" is more the consequence of people hearing "Idol Company", seeing that very flashy new member (for EOPs: That English speaking member) and concluding that it must've been her pushing past idol expectations that were... only really even thought of after 3rd gen debuted in the first place.

I do give Coco this. She really was exceptionally supportive of her coworkers. The Holohouse was her thing. Her relationships with Watame, Kanata, Haachama went above and beyond. She really was there for everyone and put genuine effort into this.

This is to be lauded.

But most of the things people usually applaud her for... she either didn't do at all or she was neither the first nor the only one who did them. She just had the charisma to be noticed more than others.

That is why I talked only about the JP side, and not the EN side.
Also I didn't talk either about pushing on the ero side boundaries, Marine already did break it with a tantrum, but I didn't see at that time a lot of corpo vtubers talking about drugs (watame), learning to swear (double finger luna), mocking translation (miko freedom lady) and suicide (hanging kanata) but haachama.

That's one thing I do think is a sad consequence of Coco leaving. If Coco was still there in 2022, she could have reached out to Rushia and keep her impulses to a minimum. Coco went through a way worse harrassment campaign than Rushia ever could imagine. Instead all Rushia had was a holiday giving Cover staff off the weekend right after the mafumafu message and nobody but her own schizophrenia to cope with.

Beside the censorship battle, Coco said that she couldn't keep up with Asacoco because it was a lot of work and she had barely any sleep (it was everyday and her 2nd stream if I recall). Her others streams didn't draw a lot of people and she herself wasnt so much interested in games so she wouldn't have lasted much longer even without the final yab as the holo black sheep (mini asa was not good enough to her standard and reddit meme was only catering...redditors humor).

Still think with a bit of retooling she could of made it work. Phase gen 3. I feel like if she was just taking a long break she would have left superchats and memberships on. The stream where she announced hiatus the line "I won't be able to stream for a while as Purin." stuck out to me.

There isn't exactly a shortage of menhera women with no employable skills other than being menhera women playing menhera girlfriends for menhera men on the internet. Rushia was practically instantaneously replaced by Chloe.

By making performers think they're irreplaceable, you just make them uppity and demanding divas.

Make them understand that their replacements are already in the pipeline, and they will toe the line.
