The value you offer as a clipper is literally dictated by how many eyes you reach rather than the labour put into it; when the service on sale is exposure, exposure to a million viewers has a much higher value than exposure to about a hundred viewers, and is therefore worth paying more for.
You can really tell whose understanding of business comes exclusively from angry retweet-bait, rather than actual experience (or really, just taking a moment or two to think about it).
Clipniggas shouldn't be paid at all. Paying one will only make all of them want payment and it will devolve into a ratrace to see who can make the most viral clips for the least amount of effort. Doing it for their oshi's sake/out of a genuine love for the content keeps clippers honest.

The ones complaining do editing services as a paid gig. They received Filian's message through Vgen, which they use to handle their upfront editing commissions and have gone the "Fuck you, Pay me" route.
This is all on the clippers channels so this would be in addition to any adsense revenue made. This is pretty much the same incentive scheme as what Aviel is doing for Idol clippers (but with a higher minimum threshold for payouts).

If she expects to have a profitable clipping channel with quality she's beyond retarded, you can't have highly edited content and cheap. IMO clipping should be your marketing arm. For example let's take a look at lumi's official clipping channel. This one of lumi's most viewed clips
That clip with the amount of editing it has would cost the lowest maybe 50 bucks hiring a nigga in any shithole where 50 is a lot of money. It has 29k, I'm told the rates of k views range from 0.4 to 1 dollars. So the clip made between 11.6 - 29 dollars, she lost money on that but the people it might attract is the real profit here. This is why I think idol quietly dropped their clipping program, they're jews and they would be losing money without any tangible results
With the volume of views fillian has she could rack the money but eventually her intern editors are gonna wise up and do the math, there will be a long line to replace them sure but stability is key to success. Instead of doing this jew intern bullshit offer a position with no real hours but just to meet deadlines at a flat rate if you want to still be cheap about it.
