Average reading ability/comprehension in the US is literally at a 6th grade level, the amount of times I have seen streamers and the like play stuff like Hollow Knight and struggle parsing the text is mind boggling, Idk how people don't die of embarrassment being unable to string together simple sentences in modern english or pronounce anything with more than 3 syllables.
