Sayu in VShojo when?

EDIT: Say what you will about VShojo, but their entire business model has been on point lately - make Hololive/Nijisanji work out the kinks of the talents + advertise for them, them poach them once they are more comfortable doing the whole Vtubing thing (add points for dedicated fans wanting to support them after they leave) for half the cost and none of the baggage

Cynically, you're right. And if it's working for them then they don't really have any incentive to change.

But is it a good long-term strategy to be seen as the "retirement home" agency? Is there going to be a point where they're going to have a harder time getting new talents because they have this image of being the agency for has-beens and failures? In my opinion it would be a good idea for them to still be bringing in fresh new talents to avoid that. But I also don't expect them to actually do that.

About two streams ago she got all "uwu I'm sorta tired chat" and mentioned having achieved most of her streaming goals. Also some frustration at not getting her CCV viewership up to Kobo numbers (she did not outright say it, it was implied).
I do agree with her, 1.3M subs but only 1k average ccv is pretty low.
That's fair to assume, but it could also be burnout. She might just need some time off to get a new perspective on things. I can easily see her be a shoe-in for vshojo but I do hope that does not come to pass.

Not going to repeat myself but that style promotes zero effort content and a general decrease in quality of streams. Not a fan of that
Its literally easy revenue by just doing nothing.(*React Content* )
True that but from the chuuba perspective it's a chill content they can set up easily with big gains to get, it's less stressful but also more engaging for the chat, it's pretty much a win-win for the chuuba and the avg chat normies

They don't really need to be anything else, much like dsp they can live on off of fans who are too deep to quit. I'd also say they barely count as an agency, their 3d live had the same quality as some randos doing shitposts in vrchat and they don't really seem to do the same merch runs as any agency. I know Kson probably put her dick on the table to try to emulate holo without the "bad" things she hated during her time but there's a reason holo still prints money and has an army of simps. Their model works and talent freedom means dick when half the group will throw you under the bus for playing a game that is haram.

For all people are dooming over this, I'll point out that Haruka & Geega were indies prior to redebuting - and others are objectively better off in Vshojo now than they were at their previous position, like Henya who inclined massively so it's not just "has beens" and "failures". I expect Nina will also see better success than she did before because, to be blunt, her numbers were generally on the lower end at Niji and Vshojo talents are roughly mid-sized 4 views at minimum.

I've said this a few times before; but you always need to be careful trying to compare youtube views to twitch views, because youtube numbers are typically ~half of the actual viewer number (who knows how this will pan out with the recent attacks on adblockers (if adblockers are what even messes up the viewer count in the first place)).
So if you say "Wow, she has 5k viewers on twitch and she only had 2k on youtube!", that's saying essentially nothing.

I dont think any of the ex corpo vtubers in vshojo (excepted for henya) will ever have the same success they had in their previous corpo. Nazuna and kson are shells of their vtuber persona from hololive. And no male vtubers will ever have as much success as luxiem had in the EN scene.

Can Vouch this the diff of Twitch vs Youtube CCV is notorious when someone does a poll and the votes came in

If she is seriously considering graduating, Ollie.
It makes me barf in my mouth saying it but vshojo is a shoe-in for someone such as her.
Who can Impregnate Vsho first Ollie or Vesper the answer might surprise you.

as much as you might hate the idea theres money to be made in changing nothing why change if the bare minimum works especially when vsho is coasting on no/low costs in the first place.

No expensive technology they are developing No/Few managers to pay No Lawsuits from former talents to settle hell even Twitch is better then youtube in terms of monetization

Just to validate the only good thing Vshojo did actually right this year:
Pikamee went to Twitch and her CCV was kinda the same and as Henya she is still holding tight that 5K that as Pika she only could achieve on special occasions.
Kuro its still kinda fresh so its hard to judge
