I dont think any of the ex corpo vtubers in vshojo (excepted for henya) will ever have the same success they had in their previous corpo. Nazuna and kson are shells of their vtuber persona from hololive. And no male vtubers will ever have as much success as luxiem had in the EN scene.

Even if they have a fraction of their viewership, they dont have to deal with shit like game perms, and im willing to bet the merch and earnings cut is way higher. So maybe they are a bit worse off economically but they do seem to have a bit more "talent freedom".

Let me hone in on this bit for a sec.

You don't need actual experiance in an industry to call yourself a professional yes actual professional will laugh at you but when it's for marketing no one actually cares

What this actually translates to someone who spent maybe a few years learning a skill vaguely tangibly applicable to vtubing my bet is on a streamer who retired or a person whos job related to public speaking or perhaps a public facing job that requires presenting a persona.

That is of course if they are not entirly lying out their ass because this is a pretty generic claim that cannot be really proven or disproven.

Auditions happen way earlier then you would think and theres usually a few months to a year of waiting before first stream the characters not being finished could be anything from waiting for potential talents to give input on the final designs to the company focusing on other aspects first not a bad thing if your going to be a mostly PNG tuber company till you get your foot in the door. it all depends on the approach really.

I know how much time lead there is on applications to debut, even in small companies, but the info they give out on their posts infer they have the intent to have 4 pre-determined models that applicants are going to apply for. I don't know how much input the applicants are going to get on any changes. They also have the claims that their assets will help you "stand out from the crowd", which I guess is technically true if they launch a gen with unfinished non-rigged pngs. It also makes it strange then that they'd be reaching out to find applicants for pre-determined designs but they don't even have all four designs finished and posted.

The art for the account pfp was said to be something created by the CEO in one of their other tweets, I think. Looks like a similar sort of style to the character sketches posted so far, so maybe the CEO is also their main artist. Definite question why it's watermarked in that case though.

But would Merry have fixed Mysta's tax issues that Vshitshow sorted for him? Probably not...

I doubt it's to do with that but the fact remains, vshojo is committed to poaching. For all the complaints about Phase fans begging people to be poached, they are a small fry compared to one that is instantly monetising them the second they get their twitch account announced.

When Pikamee left, vshojo fans were instantly clinging onto comments begging that they'd join the clique. Same happened with others later on.
