I'm one of the people in this thread who's probably a bit naive, and also gives her the benefit of the doubt a little too much but this is way too generous to the point you're gonna get burned.
She doesn't
just have impure thoughts or I wouldn't care.
As far as she presents herself on social media: Clara has made actual calls to or praises of violence, repeatedly, in less than a year. She wants people to commit acts of terror. She wants people to die for disagreeing with her. I still don't want to deplatform her nor will I ever try to drag this out of containment, because my oshis would not appreciate me doing that to their coworker nor am I that kind of person. It's still not
right, though, and I will seethe about it occasionally on some niche VTuber forum.
She blocks her own family over the wrong
Instagram like. If she knew the politics of her viewers, who knows...
I get the feeling she won't stay with Phase forever, even if it's many years from now. Not because of a yab, but VTubing does not appear to be her passion as much as the idol stuff is, seems to be a visa opportunity for her. It would only get worse as an indie. It's not someone I would oshi because she likely hates you.
I don't even need to add that if she knew I existed, she'd want
me dead. I know she would, because I voted for Trump twice.
Even then I give her some slack but sometimes it's too much that's gonna come back to bite you. She's very professional on-stream, yes. Though if the topic ever comes up it does leak out, like the Pippa impromptu collab. If the rrats were true (which they probably aren't), she's been seen shitting on her non-white coworkers for being white supremacist "pick-me" women.
But she's also not just "impure" behind the scenes. She says horrible things. I couldn't imagine wishing anyone dead, ever, just for believing the wrong political opinion. That's
insane, and not the funny kind.
