Producers and choregraphers let idolshit have teeny tiny mistakes that dont look awful to sell people on the authenticity and personality of it. The fact that theres an argument about if its on purpose or not indicates that it worked because its in character for Pippa

My money's on #2, Pippa botched the choreography they did a retake and realized watching them back the botched take was just better and used that one. It also fits with Pippa being the one who has a botch left in as she is both the least "professional" and least Idol of those performing.

It may be scripted in the final product but it undoubtedly organically came from Pippa if that's what they're saying.
