Correct me if I'm wrong, but now the timeline is:
• Kelsey lives in Canada, becomes interested in Japanese stuff (cosplay, idols)
• Moves to Japan to become an idol
• Marries a Japanese guy for a visa
• Either divorces him or gets divorced before the visa finalizes and has to move back to Canada
• Joins Kawaii in hopes they can get her a Japanese visa
• Leaves Kawaii for unknown reasons, possibly related to someone being a "mean girl" behind the scenes (either her or Nene)
• Joins Star Ring in hopes they (this time for sure) can get her a Japanese visa
• Leaves Star Ring for unknown reasons (did she go straight to Phase?)
• Joins Phase and begs to be put in JP despite planning to stream in English to try and get a visa
So essentially this woman's entire adult life has revolved around attempting to move to Japan by whatever means necessary. I'd almost applaud her determination if she wasn't such a massive bitch about it. Well... that and espousing political beliefs now that she's out of her "alt-right" days that would just see Japan turned into another Canada.
Thanks for QRD timeline. No offense to OP post, but it was hella confusing putting everything together with the info given there (at one point I thought she has three children because I got no context on one of the screenshots lol). This post gets to the matter quickly, and combined with the evidence in the OP post makes it rather convincing.
Now that I'm looking for a new kamioshi (yeah yeah I know notGura is redebuting in a week), Kelsey being able to contain her political views as Clara, extreme as they are, actually shoots her up even more in my estimations. Can't even fault her with the anti-Trump stuff as most Canadians despise him (no seriously, our current PM won on the back of his main opposition sharing many views as Trump), and Canada as a whole is more pro-lgbtq+ than even California, so her being this way is on par for the course. Considering how many entertainers can't shut up about their political views when I personally don't care for them, her restraint as Clara is actually commendable.
So yeah, as long as she shuts up about these things as Clara, she can post whatever she likes in her RL accounts. Kinda fucked up that she married for PR in Japan when she's as gay as her dad (pretty darn obvious how she talks on stream), but hey, as long as she can entertain it's whatever. Heck, I'm impressed she has stuck with Phase for this long when her corpo stunts didn't even last a year TWICE, and the fact that a lot of her coworkers are on the opposite side of the political spectrum and aren't afraid to express it.
As I say, being a "idol" isn't about being someone with "impure thoughts", but acting "seiso" despite it. Clara has that in spades, while I can also laugh at Kelsey's meltdowns in this thread. Double dose of entertainment I suppose. XD
