Honestly, if what Kuro said is correct (and you're going to have to give me a damn good reason I shouldn't believe him, he's basically talking for Ike in that stream) then Niji has been incredibly accommodating to Ike's wishes. Because yeah, it does make them look bad at first and removing all his content will affect their bottom line somewhat, they didn't have to do all of that but they went along with everything. The short notice graduation, the clean cut, not notifying his colleagues and wiping the channel pretty much immediately were seemingly all Ike's wishes.

I dont quite know if Luxiem had a heavy JP fanbase but why would they not terminate a Luxiem? Their EN fanbase is gone, their Chink fanbase is so volatile that you could tell them he was disruptive or low energy and they would still go consoom the next Luxiem cafe. And if their JP fanbase was negligble they would just react like they did to Selen, especially if they laundry list the termination

The golden days of Luxiem are gone, they still probably earn money but probably not enough to let a termination slide, and Ike was in intermittent hiatus for months due to menhera. I have my doubts they wouldnt have done that. Even when they let the whole Luca thing slide.

Kuro's words dont really give you much to speculate, man wanted to step back, so he did, and he is probably the biggest public friend of Ike, consdering even Shu was blindsided

Honestly though it seems pretty clear that Ike wanted out and Niji gave him exactly what he wanted, not much to complain about. Definitely some strange aspects to his graduation but I think they are probably secondary issues.
