On March 28th [
Archive], a severe earthquake hit Myanmar that was also felt in parts of Thailand.
Felutia tweeted out that she got affected by the earthquake and had to abandon her home. Her friend's home also was affected, so she took refuge at a McDonald's. She
posted some photos showing the damage of her house and
posted her Ko-Fi to gain financial support for
renting a hotel room.
Oh, the tweet with the photos is gone...

It turns out that the photos were of the house belonging to a friend's private Facebook page. Around April 19th, said friend called out Felutia.
Friends of said friend also called her out.
According to this friend, Felutia PM'd him to ask for permission to use those photos.

Felutia made an excuse that her posting those photos was just a mistake due to being in the heat of the moment. There also was
another tweet, but it has been deleted with no archives. She later
made another tweet that implied that he was considering suicide before deactivating the account as well as her Facebook. Her Ko-Fi page was apparently left up but has been deleted by now.
It turns out that Felutia, who I will now refer to as "her" other online handle "Fate", had accumulated a shady history spanning over a decade. It just hasn't been this egregiously bad and isn't known outside of Thailand. Fate was posting on his Facebook whaling in Honkai Star Rail [
Enka.Network link] and Gran Blue Fantasy during the time he was soliciting donations to rent a place following the earthquake. Most of the drama surrounding Fate came from the Facebook side.
It also turns the Felutiahime account is run by multiple people. The one doing the actual artwork is Putty, who was a well known artist in the Thai otaku circle decades ago. Within Thai circles, it was already known that Fate didn't do the actual art.
Putty coming forward was apparently his first sighting in over a decade [

archive]. He said what happened to lead up to this situation, detailed how Felutiahime came together, and touches upon Fate's personal background, such as being non-binary male. Though he also tries to justify Fate's actions.
RoseThai Jimmy WeebShooter, who has been online friends with Fate for many years pre-hololive,
came out informing international viewers about the situation [
JP version]. He wasn't happy about Fate's dishonesty. He confirmed that Chonburi, Fate's actual place of residence, had no damage from the Myanmar earthquake. He also details what he knows about Fate's personal background. I will detail it here along with some information Putty said:
- Fate is from a well-off family that had a factory. With the wealth he did commissioned a bunch of artists, which is how he became friends with Putty.
- The COVID lockdowns drained financial resources and made the factory go out of business.
- An inheritance dispute caused a lot of delay to gain the family assets.
- Fate claimed that he had some form of cancer while also taking care of her elderly (grand)mother, who eventually passed away.
- To cover costs, Fate began selling off belongings. He also lost his job and turned to soliciting online donations.
A few hours later, Fate reactivated the Felutiahime Twitter account and
made a post admitting to his wrongdoings. [More apology tweets:

Fate stared to refund donations received following the earthquake. He made
another tweet where he's sorry for pretending to be a girl despite being male but wants to still live as a girl... and everyone clapped in the comments (and the tweet hasengagement than the other recent tweets).
Time will tell if I will be revisiting Fate at some point when he gets caught red-handed again.
Judging by this comment, it might be more likely than not.

I don't follow hololive or even vtubers in general, but I have been following this drama for the past couple of days both on facebook and twitter as a Thai person. I just want to give some tidbits I know about this whole situation, just remember to take it with a grain of salt since I can't provide source for most of it and its from just from me reading comments and/or observing.
- The Earthquake pics thing was the thing that really started off this whole mess (or rather, shed light on it, if I'm being honest?). Fate has been doing tons of shitty stuff before this whole incident happened, but using other people's pics to solicit donations was the straw that broke the camel's back since it was undeniably illegal.
- Said "Shitty stuff" includes attacking and bashing people who he/she doesnt agree with on facebook while acting nice on non-Thai platforms. Instigating and manipulating others to make then hate individuals Fate themself doesn't like. It was also said that they decline commision requests from Thais and only accept ones from foreigners, which was seen by the Thai community as looking down at their own people.
- Felutia has been a long-time artist, for decades. So some oldheads(not me) knew that Fate wasn't the one drawing, but for the new people, especially people who knew them via Hololive, they knew nothing about this fact.
-The first time I knew about Felutia was from an incident on the start of the year. Someone accused Them of not drawing their own LINE stickers, which they had drawn and sold around a decade ago, a very successful sticker set. Felutia(Fate) admitted that they had commissioned artists to draw those stickers, saying the reason that no credit was given was because they could only be one person registered as the creator and they were drawn by many people and whatnot, and ending with "yes, I didn't draw them, but then the later ones you see until this day was all my work"
Some more stuff and gossips about his spending, since I believe the only thing mentioned here is about their HSR account
-Fate was flexing their GBF pulls on their facebook a couple of days before this shit went down. (I don't know about GBF but from the comments I remembered it was clear to others that they whaled?). When the drama happened Fate justified that they won the lottery and that wasn't the money from donations/borrowing. Fate later provided proof on Twitter that they actually won a lottery, earning them 10000 in Thai Baht. (Just to put in perspective, the minimum monthly wage in thailand is around 9000-12000 THB)
-I saw comments saying that they also bought an RTX 5090 around the time it got released, costing six figures. (one million Thai Baht equivalates to around $30k USD )
-Unquestionably, Fate was very well-off. They were able to commission people many years ago, but covid, misfortunes (and Fate's own habit tbh) made their life a turn for the worse. I find it kinda ironic since the first drama I heard about them was for them being "rich but unresponsible/lacking honesty", but now the current one is about them being accused of being a begging criminal.
Finally, I do hope Fate really changes their ways, even though its gonna be hard considering everything that has happened, and hope they don't fall back to their old ways.

Putty's either a ride or die true friend who just doesn't know that doing this won't make his friend a better person ,or is afraid on trying to go up against Fate, or is just tolerating Fate's behavior for some kind of gain for a decade lmao.
I don't know how the duo makes or splits money behind the scenes, but Putty has mostly been defending Fate, even admitted that he has helped Fate on lending money for gacha, and has been telling people that Fate isn't as irresponsible or shitty as everyone has seen for the most part.
Like, holy hell. I personably wouldn't even be able to stand someone claiming that my own art is drawn by them, let alone let them be my best friend, lend money to them to roll gacha , and keep seeing them cause drama after drama
