Christianity is the odd one out there in that this isn't a part of the foundational texts (it is, of course, how Christianity behaved as soon as it got the power to do so, but it's not a foundational aspect of the religion as it is for the other two, except insofar as Christianity still acknowledges the Tanakh).

To mock or to parody islam, buddhism or even judaism you'd need to go out of your comfort zone and study them to find the interesting parts, likely hypocrisy or clashes with modern civilization to build a joke, and most people won't do content with stuff they're not familiarized with, unless it was brought to them- that's how Fox News thrive.

There's also the issue of 'no images of the prophet Muhammad' that makes Islam a trickier target because then you can't just fall back on imagery of the main associated 'man' of the religion like you can with Jesus and the infinite depictions. You could always do that one thing South Park did and make a censorship joke out of it but eh. Making fun of jews will just get you called a nazi because how dare you, and admittedly I don't know a lot off the top of my head about judaism specifically to mock other than surface level shit like bat/bar mitzvah and circumcision. Christian mockery has been so ingrained into mainstream culture that retards like these are allowed to get away with making blasphemous shit without consequence. You never see this reaction when Jews, Muslims or any other religion is mentioned. Funny isn't it?

There's a difference between mocking a religion and their rituals, and mocking a figure held sacred in said religion alongside a specific act they performed. In this case, it's a direct mockery of God's sacrifice for humankind's sins absolution, which is the core of Christianity.
This is... pretty ugly no matter how you look at it.

To find something blasphemous requires believing in God in the first place, otherwise hearing a Christian complaining about something being blasphemous lands exactly the same way as a xe/xir tumblrina complaining about something being triggering: I don't care, cope and seethe.

Nothing should ever be above mockery no matter how "sacred" parts of the population consider it to be; you can and should feel free to mock and criticise Jews for being money-grubbing manipulators and Muslims for worshipping a sick fuck who statutory-raped a 9-year-old, and you should also be able to point and laugh at anything exceptional Christians do, even if that just amounts to being overly sensitive about jokes.

I agree that most jokes at the expense of Christians are bottom-of-the-barrel tryhard edgelord shit - but the reason they do it is because it works. Put it this way: if you go to Twitter and post "I identify as an attack helicopter", that in itself is not particularly funny. It's entry level, it's been done, everyone's heard it a thousand times - but it's the hundreds of angry replies from furfags with pronouns and mental illnesses in their bios that make it funny. It's provocative humour, and the people who're the butt of the joke can't help themselves from biting the bait. And Christians fall for it in the exact same way whenever someone makes even the most mundane "lol god isn't real" comment - they validate the joke in the process.

For those on the short bus please explain the joke? near as I can tell and given the history provided the joke seems merely to be "I fundamentally lack respect for you or your beliefs" frankly the whole thing simply seems to be an edgelord angling for attention in which case I'm going to do the worst thing I possible can nothing... I don't understand why that isn't more popular.
