The way things keep going with this situation I expect nothing to ever happen to patch it over completely nor anything to spark an event out of it, so I think “technical problems” might be avoided this time, if not without internal forces still attempting to make it so. Just enough to bubble, never enough to boil over.

As long as Fishman is okay with sponsoring a con with people being on staff who vividly loathe his (most lucrative) employees, nothing is going to happen, flat-out. Ex-staff or not, having confirmation of a clear bias against the company isn't only infuriating, it's demoralizing- imagine having all those hundreds, sometimes thousands of hours of practice and effort wasted because some lettersoup fag doesn't like what you say, without attacking anyone, the same effort that brought hard earned money who in turn funds their asses and enable them to profit with your presence.

Y'know, I'm really glad it was Des who complained and got that dude fired and not someone from here, and I'm also glad to see the Discord posters openly talking about it, because it shows the dissatisfaction toward OffKai's operations is spilling out beyond our containment, and more and more people are getting sick of how unprofessional the entire operation is. We're easy to write off as the toxic racist transphobic buzzword buzzwords, but when different criticisms are coming from all angles it's much harder for them to deflect.

It's also worth emphasising that not all of OffKai's problems are politically motivated either, I remember a left-leaning vlogger complaining about the inadequate safety and privacy considerations last year, and given they already seem to be fumbling over themselves by somehow not noticing one of their guests saying the US should boot out the crackers to avoid shootings I'm not too optimistic they're on top of these kinds of problems either.
