Seeing this makes me wonder how some folks, like Calli, that have done live performance prior to vtubing feel. I can't imagine performing from a backroom in a venue when the crowd is somewhere else in the building. There'd probably be less stage fright but you're missing out on that immediacy and energy of the people being right there. I totally get why Yuka, especially since she's actually playing an instrument to boot, would ditch an avatar. I guess some folks don't anticipate how antiseptic and disconnected a virtual performance can feel until they've done it.
