Yeah, what's funny is that Miles Morales still managed to rack up $156 million in development costs. Meanwhile their estimations were that Spider-Man 3 would cost $385 million while Spider-Man 2 cost $315 million, which really shows how out of control that shit is getting.
We've known for a long time that Sony's entire gameplan was to accept the losses on those exclusive games as they were loss leaders to bring people to their console, so they buy all their normiecore MTX (Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc) while on the platform and Sony gets a huge cut from that. However they released this shit to PC, ruining their exclusivity draw, which is strange considering the recent PSN announcement. Sony stated that the PSN+ service won't be guaranteeing PS4 games in the monthly bonuses anymore, only PS5 games. They're definitely trying to force their ~50% of PSN users still using PS4 to jump to PS5 but they just rushed an exclusive out of the door to PC. This is also happening right as a third-party exclusive releases to PC (Rebirth). This shit doesn't make sense.
