In private, I'm pretty sure the likes of Lia, Runie and Airi are at best apathetic, at worst resentful of how the Trump administration is rolling back protections for troons, deporting families, and throwing government workers out onto the street (especially Runie, considering her roommate is or was a government employee).

And you know what, that's okay! Whatever their beliefs may be, they don't let them bleed into their character, and that includes Clara.

I do not in the slightest care how a v-tuber votes or what their political leanings are. The last time Clara stuff came up it was in the election thread, which is why it was so politically charged last time; but she's bitched about Trump since and it's not that big of a deal to most people. The only ones who really care about that are the usual suspects who want to make everything political anyways, and they're just as cringe as she is.

This specific post got brought up because she's specifically calling out the community she's part of, that pays her bills, in an incredibly hypocritical fashion. Not only that, but she's doing so in direct response to an argument that at least a half-dozen notable Phase members have made. If I had a nickel for every time Muyu, Pippa, Lia, or even Remi bitched about normies ruining the anime/gaming communities I'd be able to buy Fishman out; it comes up all the time. For Clara to somehow warp those arguments into "queers and people of color are protecting Japanese art and media from white gooners and racists" highlights a fundamental disconnect from Phase's fanbase.

I'm not going to say that there aren't people freaking out about Clara for political reasons, because there obviously are. But this particular post is above and beyond that; it shows that she has a specific and heightened distaste for the weebs who are giving her their cash on a daily basis.
