The weird thing about the attention economy in the Cosplay space is that it's exactly what we've seen play out with the behind the scenes drama. No one wanted to show up to the same convention with the same outfits, because then they'd all get compared and that really does a number to the female psyche. But that scene is absolutely all about that much backstabbing.
Most Vtubers favor Vtubing because they don't have pretty faces. Bao's in solid shape and a 6/7 in the face range. (Poor Numi's problem is she's a 4 and has spent too much time around far prettier girls that she's so far in her own head about it.) Sinder has big tits and a massive desire for attention, but not really the face to go with it. Like most of them, they'd need to get model-thin to really remove a lot of the issues with their faces. Thus the face masks most of the time.
Oh, Bao also clearly spikes pretty high on the Crazy Chart, but not high enough that you think you're getting a knife in the back after a one night stand. Everyone knows Bao isn't faking the unhinged aspects, so she has a certain level of sexual appeal than the rest of their space. I doubt Sinder understood that at the conscious level, but she'd be reacting to that if she felt threatened by Bao.
This is more of a Proctor point, but the Male purview is normally against Nature, because it's always trying to kill you. The Female purview doesn't see that, so it's always against their standing relative to other Women. Female Intra-sexual Competition never ends for most of them.
