It's also being ran by the guy who did The Conjuring universe, so I would assume if anyone can do it, it's a guy who made the horror version of the MCU. As long as they keep also putting out standalone shit like The Joker, and their good, most of the time, animated stuff, I'll be happy.

I mean, that's mostly because he's not a particularly great filmmaker. You can get away with a lot of scuff when you're making dumb comedically-exaggerated film reviews, but you need a bit more actual practical skill to pull off something you want people to take seriously. It does feel like he's come to terms with it these days though, at least compared to how insecure he came off around the time Demo Reel was dropping off; the guy's found his schtick and makes it work.
