I'm still placing my bets on someone in NijiEN (whether talent or management) going rogue and adding fuel to the flames against the (probable) directive from higher-ups to shut the fuck up.
I still raise my bet on Elira going supernova with 1024 pages of slack screenshots when she get kicked.

Well shit. She's fucking done for. Nijisisters are gonna salivate, tear apart, and ravage her limbs, meanwhile her supporters who heard her leaked audio and saw her twitter post apologizing are gonna be like "who?" on her and never defend her by leaving the fuck on the sideways. It would not surprise me if she commit suicide, if she didn't do that, she will either look for a job against her will or just continue streaming to less than two-view or one-view on her PL.
Most people I see don't even really care that much, you just either like her or hate her honestly.

Side note: I see the flood of canceled streams are starting, so it's finally time.

Having actually engaged with Nova before, she's far too lazy for this, even as Elira she's still fairly lazy in terms of wanting to "cover her ass" in this way, so it's not something we'll ever honestly see, I do however see her making a new account, which we will know shit really is sinking at that point.

Shout out once again to all the "I would watch her if she wasn't in Nijisanji" folks, really coming in strong to prove themselves wrong again.
What you do have on the forum however are people who like to pretend that that "potential audience" is real and not just drama addicts who will jump off as soon as they can't get their fix anymore.
Dude they exist and she explicitly repeatedly told them to fuck off of course they aren't watching, it's been discussed ad nauseum that she has purposely alienated any potential new audience other than the small one she already had

As for the notice

JP corpo doesnt care about sexual harassment unless the talent is being a sperg about it
Wrong. JP corps don't want sexual harassment scandals anymore than any other corp. Look no further than the Fuji Tv harassment scandal, which saw them lose their entire sponsorship base and all of their executives fired or forced to resign. Allowing a sex pest to run rampant in your company is a business death knell. There's no benefit to you, in the short or long term.

The response to that was pretty much unprecedented in Japan, if you compare even the relatively recent Johnny's scandal. (And AIUI, while all the Japanese sources talk around the details to avoid defamation lawsuits, the Fuji Tv case is fundamentally about a guy raping a woman violently enough to send her to hospital)

And they were retarded enough to sweep it under the rug until they got Google dockey'd ratted to tabloids. It's not that they don't want scandals, they just don't want them wriggling out into the public eye.

Not sure where you're coming from here. Wouldn't reports of sexual harassment being made public precisely what makes it a scandal?

Haven't heard about that whole Fuji TV scandal before, but it sounds like a seriously fucked up situation. It makes sense that a "don't rock the boat" mentality creates an environment rife with the potential for abuse. Of course, I think it's long been established that Anycolor doesn't really act towards their own rational business interests, so I doubt they'll find the right option for dealing with their resident sexpest even after trying literally everything else.

Which is why we are seeing a most silent termination.
