You know, this whole thing about Niji's booth at AX being empty and dead makes me remember something.

GCCBj8UbQAASpGe

That's a NijiID focused fan-convention held in Jakarta, Indonesia at the near end of 2023 and even though it's completely different thing (between an official booth and fanmade mini-convention), but at least the fanmade event tried to showcase how there's fans in there, while Niji barely did any effort and just shows the booth as is.

And this is from the same country whose branch they left to rot.

Reminds me: were there any incidents at the convention with this setup? Doki was at a large booth right across from the NijiJP and NijiEN booths, both combined weren't as large. Given Doki's popularity and Nijisanji overseas losing all attraction, I was expecting some dunking going on at the con.
The one I posted who had a bunch of photos complained about being sexually harassed. But aside from taking it with a huge grain of salt, it was all "the guy talked to me and stood closer than 10 meters away from me, he was basically raping me" kind of allegations.
AnyKuro has been cancelling stocks.
It became abundantly clear they don't make enough money to pay dividends, the "pump and dump" scheme Riku has beeing running is not working because no one wants to buy the company, and there is no way to continue to create an image of profitability with financial reports being that bad

no reason given for that but whats clear is this is going to inflate the price of stock due to every stock becoming a bigger share of the company. Article 178 doesnt specify which or whos stocks must be cancelled but i believe its going to be Rikus. Keep in mind this multiple companies and banks have cancelled their stocks earlier this year in response to the Nikkei disaster, so this can just not be related to any happenings.

I doubt it'll help. Buyback failed, whole jap market accelerating down, i see no reason why this could result in anything positive. They basically inviting more shortsellers.

Nah they will be cancelling the stocks under the recent buybacks.
Meaning riku stock will also increase in price.
It'd be so funny if Riku start dumping his inflated stock. Meaning all the buybacks was never intended to salvage the stock price but has always been intended for pump 'n dump and that riku has been planning it since the beginning of the year.

It wasn't. They directly stated they are doing it as a way to pay dividends. At the very least if you are talking about the last one

you are quoting what they said. I said whatever they said were lies:smugpipi:
My hypothetical only works if Riku started selling however.

Anycolor bought back in the around 700-1 million stocks and is in possession of around 700 thousands stock right now, cancellation announcement specifies that around 3.5 million shares are to be cancelled. So no, they cannot cancel only the shares they bought back. The only one shareholder that has enough shares to cancel is Riku. And their second biggest shareholder is Sony. Guess what happens if other shareholders suddenly lose their stake in the company? Guess what happens if sony doesnt take their cut?

This isnt just anycolor L, this is Riku L.

Speaking of Niji L's from yesterday...

If a Niji has a birthday, and doesn't even stream, does the merch even matter?

That's right, Kunai/SunnySplosion didn't even stream yesterday for her birthday - reliably one of the most profitable days for a vtuber to stream. No activity on the SunnySplosion account, and only two tweets as Kunai.

I don't know where you're getting those numbers. The recent buyback was for 2,712,000 shares and before the buyback they had 775,271 shares as treasury stock according to their report. I trust you can do the math yourself.

Did anyone clock me, but eh, seems like she's gone gone. If not the contract then mentally. She followed her PL on main and said PL followed all the ex-nijisanji including Doki & Sayu. I wouldn't be surprised if she was put on suspension for doing it.

NijiEN members can do whatever the fuck they want. At best they get fired. At worst they will be put on suspension. Win win situation if you can return to your PL without baggage of bad shit later

Not a good sign if they tell the members to unsub. (Or a good sign that they are leaving)

Like a week ago we were just talking about how they shilled merch for Roa, the talent they put in hiatus for 2+ years and tried to unsuccesfuly sue a dramafag over because of said imposed hiatus, rrat pointed out how they sell merch of a liver who streamed twice and has been in Hiatus since 2019

She had 3 streams ever and never officially graduated.

Considering their cookie cutter practices they probably just wholesale make batches of the same and then just roll them out when the day comes

It's been awhile, but I recall some of it being so shoddy that they had standees with the acrylic plate being machined in such a way (think of it like an outline with margins) that it didn't even fit the character art that was used (leading to serious scaling/sizing issues).

Like having someone such as Millie (lolfat) on a Vox/some male-sized plate, so she got shrunk (lol).

So not only cookie-cutter, but seemingly so inept and lacking on QA that you can have wholly dissimilar acrylic plate patterns pre-cut and fuck up even the simple act of applying a decal/printing an image on to it.
