How do we know the bullying was highschool nonsense vitriol and not just a few members being irritably pushy and annoying about management; when Doki would routinely upstage them to get stuff done. A lot of passive aggressive "Why can't you just keep your head down" and or "Stop making things worse for us."
Not really Doki doing anything wrong, just her not "conforming" to make everything easier and bearable for everyone else. Blaming her for why things are going to shit instead of holding management accountable.
Once her stuff started getting canceled for subverting the bureaucracy too many times no one stood up for her and just kept telling her to "Fall in line". Millie, Enna, and Elira being the primary party in all this because they gave up fighting a long time ago for their own reasons. I can imagine how isolating that would be and damaging to one's self worth. Now picture what that feels like for someone with BPD.

I think the highschool idea came from Doki's tweet, and that was because the response (streaming at the same time as her to try and smear her) was highschool-level
The actual "bullying" that people talk about is probably like you said, more of the guilt-trippy, "fall in line" variety.
I'm inclined to believe that Elira maybe was relied on by JP management to translate, giving her a big head about her involvement in the company, and did stick her fingers in the approval process (And that's just cause it makes sense in my head, but yeah, no evidence). And there is definitely a lot of preferential treatment from management (maybe the two are related. Not necesarilly because Elira is management, but bc of both problems compounding on each other). But that's the adult toxic work environment type of bullying I'd say.
I think the more recent responses (and the two suicide attempts) are making people retroactively imagine the worst, but even in really bad coworker situations, they don't risk getting that bitchy.

Since the 12th December wayback machine crawl of the recruitment page, two positions have been added, so there were 70 positions at first then compared to the 72 right now. On the November 2 capture, though, there were only 65 positions there. I am not going to bother with checking the November 2 capture for details beyond that, since given the timing it is most probably irrelevant, but I'm numberfriending it anyway

Some of the positions are different between the current and 12th December versions of the page. In particular they are now asking for a directior of overseas business, a 法務総務 兼任担当 (Google Translate says "legal and general affairs concurrently responsible" and the Canadian manager recruitment thing, while they are no longer asking for an overseas public relations officer or an 情報システム_リーダー候補 (Google says "information system_leader candidate"). They have been asking for an overseas talent manager since before 12th Dec, though the wording changed between 12th Dec and now ("overseas talent manager" to "overseas strategy and overseas talent manager" as well as the position on the page.

I have not been as autistic in all my time on this forum as I have during this Total Niji Death event. What in the world has this brought out in me.

Re:Cy Yu clips, I watched the full VOD of that stream for full context and almost everyone is misunderstanding some details.

It was NOT a recent interview. He didn't just dodge a bullet, he avoided this entire all out war altogether lol

The interview(s) happened circa 2021, a bit after his 1.0 debut as "Cy Yu". This was before his huge growth spike as both a VA and streamer for Genshin/Star Rail, etc. that happened around late 2022.
He was discontent with the lack of support for indie male Vtubers and had wanted to quit, so it seems he wanted to try his hand at auditioning to a corpo for perks.

The interview in which they would NOT let him continue voice work AT ALL was Niji. ("OH, so you put your voice work above all else?", "Is there any way we can convince you otherwise [to quit VA?]".... Literal super villain tact levels of persuasion here lol)

He says he also "auditioned" for another company which wanted to replace his agents with their own and that could only be Hololive for the Holostars division BTW, seeing as there's literally no other big corpo at the time accepting male talents. And afaik, Hololive allows their talents to still do voice over work. (Isn't Flayon a EN VA? Cy Yu knows him BTW so he must be)

Of course, he made the right choice, because after getting into Hoyoverse games as a VA, this dude hits 1k+ viewers minimum easily.
Maybe he would have enjoyed his time in Holostars but.... Niji would have broke this dude down completely.
(Also fyi, he has no actual vtuber history knowledge and seems to do vtubing like your average Twitch streamer [no real big keyfabe] but he's a nice guy from what I've seen of him.)
