The 9mm AR is largely poopy and I have faith Pippa wouldn’t buy one. There are other base designs that do it better. M855 isn’t dogshit, but it’s value is overstated. M855a1 is an improvement. Prohibitively expensive on the civilian market but an improvement. Getting match grade 75 or 77 grain projectile from black hills or Hornady would be ideal for self defense for the civilian home defense nerd but realistically any full powder round will do at the distances she’s likely to need it in. M855 is also worse for practicing on steel and indoor ranges ban it (not likely a problem for Pippa). /sperging over

For home defense a shotgun and a handgun are usually enough, but AR's are for fun and outdoors.
