The thing about that argument is that even though your time would probably be better spent learning those real skills, someone considering this is probably not improving any skills in the first place so might as well do something that you enjoy.

It does, I just grabbed this and its been perfect, it just plays the preroll until the stream loads then skips it.

Kinda depends on what exactly you're doing. Off all the things Warhammer did for me, learning how to paint and put together conversion projects to build little dudes was really fun and pretty handy in ways I didn't expect beforehand. The dude in the video figuring out how to build his ride in such a way that it didn't leak might be a bit more of a stretch, but it is there.
