Disney will never let it happen. I think Steamboat Willie is being sacrificed to public domain but if you use him and call him Mickey you will be sacrificed on the altar of ESG.
In fairness, Twitch forces automated ads if the streamer hasn't run any in a while, so intentionally running ads at appropriate times where not much is happening is preferable to them running automatically at a climactic moment in the film.
Because Youtube's DMCA system is not an actual DMCA legal claim. It's just an arbitration system designed to get the law off their ass. A "claimant" on Youtube doesn't need to prove that a copyright exists, that they have a right to the copyright if one does exist, or that the video in question actually infringes on said copyright. It's literally no-proof no-risk on a claimants behalf, an infamously fucked situation that regularly results in cases where DMCA troll bots flag people for their own 100% original content.

Yeah twitch forces ads, they are desperate to make some money. They require a certain amount of ads every hour, you can either decide when to run those ads or twitch will force them.
Now it's feeling like the theatre experience as the mother with a birthday party worth of kids asking what they all want from concession loudly during the movie
