They don't teach you logic just memorization of formulas with no "why" to actually use the formula or how they arrived at the necessity of the formula. Reading comprehension is less affected, but they've moving away from the classics and dumbing down the requirements. Proper grammar and why we arrived at such a structure is used is mostly lost.
