If you mean swelling that shit was solved after gen 1, before they were adopted by the military if I'm not mistaken. Weight obviously doesn't matter in a shoot house, but what average shooter, let alone a competition shooter or mil/ex mil simps for steel magazines? They come with their own problems, hell me recommending alu mags is easier to shit on as they have the same problem as steel, the feed lips bend and or crack more under direct impacts more than magpuls magazines.
